Well, the movie is mediocre, it has a simple and poor story, although the songs are good, they are a problem for the film, it has an overdose of songs, Spinnel was profiled to be Steven's real enemy, but In the end she was a simple generic enemy, with a "sad" background, she is a forgettable enemy, and she ended up just like Poochie, and was defeated by the so spent and boring power of conversation, love and feelings, I think this was the moment where Steven Universe should have shown something new, something different, a darker and more serious environment and story, but in the end Steven Universe has shown that it has stagnated and that it can be nothing more than that simple pretty pink series

Let me start by saying I watched this movie in a room full of die-hard fans, and they all came to the same conclusion I did. This movie is abysmal. It's enjoyable to watch purely for meme purposes, but if you're expecting any good writing, interesting character development, or interesting follow-ups to the tv show, you're looking in the wrong place.

It was a nice movie. I really liked all of the call backs to the show in the film. I really like the animation they use for the main antagonist. She reminds me of a mixture of Luffy from One Piece, Harley Quinn, and one of the Cupheads. I really hope they do another season one day to answer one of my biggest questions. Who made the Diamonds!? We know the machines made gems but who made the Diamonds? Otherwise I really liked the movie it had it flaues too like rose/pink diamond. When she leave to go to earth she leaves that gem for 6000 years is just heartbreaking. Still see the movie its pretty funny too.

This movie was probably a new episode that they decided to turn into a movie, extending the normal 10 min to ~1h30h, filling literally all the gaps with musicals. The whole plot is a 10 minutes deal, the musicality is annoying, the 10 minutes plot could be shorten to 1 minute if the writing wasn't dumb.... And the special reason my rating is 4 is because the whole movie has probably that amount, in minutes, of "fighting" in it.
