Steve-O: Gnarly

I am a Steve-O fan. He is the only Jackass member to stay relevant in 2020. He took his life on a different route and now, he is sober but still funny. This "movie" shows exactly who he is now and his nice stand up act. Plus the Jackass gang is reunited! Must watch for Steve-O and Jackass fans.

Loved it. Was so unexpected and fresh. I hope you put out a new one every year!

He's made it pretty clear it's all for female attention and even in this special you can see how the camera is careful to only zoom in on females' faces, and it's pretty cringe and sad. He's more than enough of a fun, cool guy without having to constantly risk his health just so some ugly chicks can laugh at him. I'm genuinely worried, but glad he's made it this long. Just be a comedian, Steve-O, stop acting like the king of beta simps. Doing self-harm to get female validation is ridiculously cringey. Just do comedy, you're good at it. And if your wife really is enabling you and is attracted to you hurting yourself, then she clearly doesn't love you and you can do way better than some makeup chick who was looking for a bigger star to mooch off of.

If you've read Steve-O's book, watched his other videos or followed him on social media for more than a week, you've already seen 95% of Gnarly. The totally new content amounts to about 5 minutes of footage. He brings a few of his mates out, but they generally just come on stage for a hug then disappear. It's not really comedy, either - it's just Steve-O telling stories. He peppers it with little gags, but it's more spoken word than standup. Not really worth the $10 USD to stream it. You're better off tracking down a copy of Jackass, Wildboyz, or the absolutely all-time masterpiece CAREER ENDER.

Steve-O was never the best on his own, but his manic drug-fueled stunts on Jackass and Wildboyz were undeniably entertaining. And the documentary PCP Saved My Life should be shown in drug and alcohol prevention classes - it's very good, but extremely hard to watch. This, on the other hand, is *just* hard to watch. Good for Steve-O for being sober and seemingly happy, but Patrice Oneal said it best: "This new sober you STINKS". A stand-up special with no funny jokes. A stunt video with no good stunts (just gross-out stuff). Rambling storytelling that's only for the most diehard of diehard fans. There's no reason to watch this, unless you've seen everything else he's done, and can excuse some lame stunts and bad jokes.

This is for fans of Steve-O. No doubt. However, his story is genuinely interesting. Regardless of who this is for, you can't deny that this man has come full circle and ended up being one of the most down to earth blokes on this planet. A genuinely inspiring story, with some cringe moments spread throughout (see "the turtle") this is an absolute blast to watch. Through and through. Maybe not for everyone, certainly not for the faint of heart, but for me, this hour long show flew by.

It's great that Steve O could overcome his addiction and that he's still in showbiz to entertain us. He also added a lot of value to his work by fighting for animal rights and stuff. But this "movie" is just disappointing. It's like on of his "Don't try this at home" DVDs back in the day. Just without drug fueld parties. It mostly him talking about some crazy stuff he did on drugs (nothing new there - it's all in the MTV documentation about him). And he does a few stunts. The funny ones he already posted a lot of times on YouTube and Facebook. The rest is some self-harming behaviour of him which is not funny at all.

This is a comedy routine where Steve o and many jackass friends do stunts and tell the stories of insanity never seen on a movie before, while the story is being told you see the footage. Now I have herd most of these stories before sense in a huge fan and have done my research however the footage is very much never seen for the most part. The stunts are absolutely disgusting and brutal, the gross out gags are the some of the most revolting things I've ever seen. Make no mistake this movie is absolutely not for casual viewing it makes jackass look like child's play. There's gore, nudity, real footage of graphic drug abuse, broken bones, and very dangerous stunts with the ending being the most horribly painful stunt Steve o has ever done my jaw dropped and I can't even sleep After seeing this because it's so awesome. If the upcoming jackass 4 is anything close to this it's gonna be amazing however this movie is not rated and not officially sold anywhere for a reason and that is the fact that this is essentially all stuff that you can't show anywhere it's that bad and messed up! I don't think an official movie realese can have 90% of the stuff in this special. But for the few fans who have got to watch it like myself we got a real treat here.

Good storytelling, sad and brutal to watch. Decently produced but not worth the gore and disgust. Hard to respect this lust for fame at this cost.

Comedian/Stuntman, Steve-O delivering an amazing hour of laughs and "OH NO HE DIDN'T"s. It's *chef's kiss* perfect. I definitely recommend watching the trailer before purchasing though, as it's not for everyone. Lots of 🍆. Great story line. Super fast paced as well, no boring moments. Love it!!!!!!!
