Imagine every cliche the most Ignorant person thinks about Alabama and roll it all into one movie. I don't k ow anyone who: 1. Wears cowboy boots and flannel shirts, 2. Line dances... I saw more of that when I lived in NC, 3. Has an Alabama state flag hanging from their house. I mean football is a big deal but the excessive Roll Tides and Bama pride was way overboard. Check the accent, those people sounded ridiculous.
These days people keep bringing up stereotypes and prejudices... well let me bring this one up. I'm tired of people from Bama being portrayed as simple minded, uneducated, white trash Y'all!!! Come visit and I'll show you what it's really like in the Deep South.

Need a feel good movie? Looking for a date movie? Maybe something P. G.? Harmless and unoriginal but cute. Actors look familiar but very cute. Don't know why they couldn't be visiting home... in South Carolina... why did it have to be Alabama ? No one sounds local .. at all!

This was a stupid movie. Good god. Can't you people visit the south before you make these ridiculous movies?? We don't all drive big trucks nor do we all yell roll tide. Good grief.

The fact that the characters in this movie were line dancing to "Gives You Hell" by American Rejects says it all.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. And it was great to see all the charm of Beaufort, SC again. It was authentic, and a great place to film. I grew up in Savannah, and Beaufort is close by. It's always been a lovely town. You should go there for a weekend. Or visit while on Hilton Head, Charleston, or Savannah.
Now for the actual movie. I'm a sucker for a feel good movie, and if you're not then you need therapy (or more therapy). It was good clean fun, and for those of us who went to high school and beyond, it brought back memories.
It was real so watch and enjoy. If not, refer to needing therapy above.

We loved this movie for a number of reasons. It's exactly what you would expect for a movie with relatively unknown actors. Very much like a Hallmark movie. But that's what makes it a sweet movie to cuddle up with your sweetie and watch. And living in the area where it was filmed, plus being an Alabama fan (Roll Tide!) we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the scenes in Beaufort and Bluffton, SC. Well done!

I like romcoms. This one even if in the Hallmark genre is quite good. The actors especially Ciara Hanna performed well with smart acting. The cinematography was very well done which separates from other similar movies. The plot is good and though there is no Oscars in play, we'll worth the time to watch.

Very cliche, very country, fun but a little boring. James is really cute in here. Good Old Romcom, just go with it style.

It's a cute little movie, but not worth spending money on. The acting and editing are amateur (the early truck scene lasts 10 minutes!). If you like Hallmark movies, you'll enjoy it.

Both lead actors did a great job in my opinion
all the objectives were met
1) becoming your real selves
2) understanding the importance of small town values, family, friends
3) love can find each other in many circumstances
4) Clara Hanna did great with emotional control and got me involved in the film
I get impression, although not said, that she came from a small town too ?
Clara reminded me of Ali Larter
I like how the small town vibe helped big city people find each other
Rules were meant to be broken !
