I think the best acting in Soul Plane is the plane itself. It looks like the plane is very nice looking from both the outside and the inside. The plane has more personality than the people in this movie. Every single character in this movie is a stereotype. We have the one white couple. The pilot who is afraid of heights. The stewardeses who are dressed like hookers. The one gay character who looks at everybody. The language is offensive, with repeated use of the offensive N-word that whites cannot use but blacks inexplicably do. Why did this movie need to push for an R rating when it could have gone for a PG or a PG 13 would suffice. I give this movie a 4/10 and that is only for the great looking plane.

I don't know what Moviecaine is talking about. Some people read to much into movies, and pick apart every minute detail, failing to see the humor in movies such as this. This was a hilarious movie, and would recommend it to every hip-hop movie fan out there. The part where Hughley was in the bathroom with Tom Arnold, and kicks on Push It is great. Snoop, Method Man were in fine style all the way through the movie. It borders on unrealism with the plane, as it almost seems like the plane is bigger then it is with all the rooms, the big party room, high class seating, and no-class seating. The soundtrack definitely fit the flow of the movie, and added to the mood.

People who say this movie is not funny, lame, even kind of a drag. stop talking and go watch "Citizen Kane" or something. i laugh my ass of from the beginning till the end. OK... is was a kind of simple, easy humor but you get that message from looking at the cover. it's a really easy to watch kind of movie and the people who bashed this movie are crazy. these people should really choose there movies more carefully. come on... pimp my ride only with a plane, a cast with mostly stand up comedians, rappers & tom Arnold. my final conclusion: the movie is really worth about an 7, but just to set the record straight for all the people who ranked it way to low, i'm gonna give it a 10

I wouldn't be surprised if humans don't like my review, as proven with the reception from my other reviews. That's not gonna change my mind about anything. Cry about it. Soul Plane is a guilty pleasure for me. I really like the cast and everyone made me laugh in some way. Snoop Dogg and Godfrey should star in a comedy together because I know it would be hilarious! It was entertaining seeing a purple plane with hydraulics lol. I know there are stereotypes, but unlike King Bach, who is very successful due to 'Murican racism and hypocrisy, Soul Plane goes after everyone just about. At the end of the day, people are entitled to their own opinion, and my opinion is that this movie is funny. It's stupid, but funny.

At least I didn't have to pay to see this. I never expected Soul Plane to be a good movie, I just wasn't expecting it to be that bad. This movie relies heavily on sex, bathroom and race jokes that are offensive, of bad taste and -worst of all- unfunny. This plane crashes before takeoff. It gives urban humor, and hip-hop culture a bad name. If this is the kind of humor you like, you're better off with a Wayans Bros. movie.
