Some reviews were so harsh. Yes, Jen Lilly was whining and whining, but that was her part. She is only comfortable in Manhattan and isn't very adventurous at all.... Chris McNally's role was that he was nervous and tried too hard to be entertaining. You find out that so much was riding on his success as a tour guide. I like him in any role I've seen him play. The movie was a departure from the formula of a festival, old friend showing up etc. The supporting actors were good in their roles also. Light fun and escape.

This is absolutely a typical Hallmark movie so the poor reviews annoy me. Yes, Kate's character at the beginning is completely annoying. That's the point. It's called character growth. We want to not like her and then see how Noah changes her. The best friend, Jane, is absolutely wonderful. Well written and well acted. Well done Amy Groening. I love this movie. The best Hallmark movies get better with age because they cover you like a warm blanket on a cold night with comfort. And it's good with a glass of wine.

Will writers please stop with the cliche of NYC and over dramatizing it! I lived in NYC for 1/2 my life and the only one who whistles for a cab are doormen, people don't slam into you like that if your a real City girl you learn how to miss and if there was a bagel truck that with all those choices tell me where I'm there! Clearly it was filmed in Canada it's so stupid always making them be in NYC since it's a bag hole now good time to pick another big and better city to have all your films start and Jen is made to be so fake like and where is her voice speak normal and stop with the whining in every movie she is in! She was the best when she was evil on Days of our Lives at least she was real had a voice now she is just so hard to watch her she is the same in every Hallmark Movie she is a great actress but she doesn't shine when made to be so plastic! Ug such a shame!

At about the 28 minute mark, Lucia Micarelli appears and plays the violin for about 90 seconds... so there is about a minute and a half that's worth watching. Two stars for the Loosh.

Was not expecting all that much from 'Snowkissed'. At all really. Have always made a big effort to look past the very corny titles that Hallmark's films (not just Christmas but overall) have, but the idea of the story just didn't excite me. It did sound quite mundane and very more of the same, Hallmark Christmas/winterfest films have always been predictable (excessively so at worst) and 'Snowkissed' certainly sounded like the same story except for a little more variety in the setting. Still gave it the benefit of the doubt, as a number of Hallmark films have been a lot better than expected and more interesting than they sound on paper. 'Snowkissed' was however more or less what was expected, or perhaps worse, and there is very little interesting about it. It was pretty much one of the Hallmark Christmas/winterfest offerings that is worse than mediocre and left me completely cold. A few good things but so many poorly done ones as well that overshadow the good. Am going to start off with the good. The best thing about 'Snowkissed' is the scenery, which is absolutely magical and full of beauty (actually forgot about the lack of authenticity). It's nicely shot too. The other great thing is a perky and charming Amy Groening, giving the only halfway decent performance of the film. Her scenes have a lot of spark. Unfortunately, the spark is completely missing elsewhere. Absolutely agree with all the negative comments about Jen Lilley, who over-compensates truly obnoxiously in a role that is not interesting and has no positive traits. Actually have nothing against flawed characters, as long as they have nuance and don't have their flaws exaggerated. That is exactly the mistake 'SnowKissed' makes with Lilley's character and then the role is over-acted which makes her more unbearable. Chris McNally isn't as bad, but he is rather bland and ill at ease as a pretty colourless character. The two have no chemistry whatsoever, actually looking distant with each other. Furthermore, the story is far too thin and feels stretched out with padded aimlessness. It is also very predictable from doing nothing new at all to a done to death formula, complete with a too neat ending. The only interesting or likeable character is Groening's, the others are either dull or irritating. Like most Hallmark films, most of the music is intrusive and doesn't fit. The dialogue has more cheese than the cheesiest of cheeseburgers and even fruit sherberts don't have this amount of cloying sugar. On the whole, weak. 3/10.

I gave this movie 4 stars because I like Jen Lilley and Chris McNally and they had good chemistry. But Jen's character was so whiny and annoying that I did not enjoy the movie. I don't know who wrote this movie but it was a strike out for me.

Not sure if it has really any spoilers but just to be on the safe side! Jen Lilley and Chris McNally are so cute together!!! I have to say, why are people being so harsh about Jen? She's "dead on", there are many people like her character. I am sorry to say this, I know a few people from Manhattan who feel the same way! Secondly, some people are just as whiny as she is, not everyone is fearless! By all the harsh comments, I think she nailed it!! Think about it?!! That's what the character was all about! That all the Hallmark movies have the same basic storyline, come on?!!!! If you haven't noticed by now, where have you been?! There's even a guy on a website that created a drinking game, he listed I believe about 10 or 15 (could be more) of things that as soon as you see them in the movie, you have to take a shot! So, yes! They all have a trademark. If you don't enjoy them, just don't watch them anymore. Trust me, they have so many Christmas movies out now every year that I only watch a handful. Way too many!!!! And don't get me started on some of the actors that they should consider replacing! It is free to see how they have incorporated African-Americans and the LGBTQ community! I love Jonathan Bennett and the fact that he was able to portray such a character was outstanding! When you have straight guys playing gay characters and the other way around, same with female characters, I just don't think it's fair. And knowing that someone is gay, how can I watch playing a straight guy? And vice versa?!! Anyway, sorry I went off topic! It is Hallmark y'all! Just enjoy the cute couples, the romance and the beautiful sceneries! And I do agree!!!! Why is everything filmed in Canada?! It is not only Hallmark though! And if you look at the cast list I can say 1/3 are probably from Canada! Any particular reason? The again, all those leading men, oh my, they are all so darn handsome!!!!

Has this woman ever been to a city in Canada? It's pretty much comparable to the a US city. Shocker ... they have coffee stands, stores, paved streets. BTW - the road to Banff is part of the Trans-Canada Highway which crosses the entire country - from New Foundland/Labrador to British Columbia - the road is paved. Yes - it goes through mountainous areas (Alberta/British Columbia) - but it's PAVED. Keeping it real Hallmark - as usual. As for Jen Lilley - lately she's just way too whiny. Give it a rest. So over her. I love Chris McNally - but he kind of sucked in this one. Good thing he's nice to look at...
