I really liked this movie. The plot kept me interested all the way through because you never knew for sure what Lacey was capable of doing. I thought the acting was very good. There is lots of blood and some gruesome scenes, definitely not for kids.

This was an action packed movie about right battling evil. The key characters were all courageous and this made for good battle sequences. This comedy violence genre is fun to watch and very cool.

If they would of given the lead actor like a hell of a lot more lines then the grunts she did. I would of given this movie a higher score. The plot was simple enough to follow and the action was okay. I just really wish she had more dialogue and if the guy from He Never Died would of showed up that would of done it for me.

Caution: Spoilers
As one who is a great fan of the prequel, HE NEVER DIED, I was really looking forward to this one. I have to say that I was very disappointed, because I kept comparing it to the prequel. HE NEVER DIED was loaded with dark humor in scene after scene--this one barely registered on the dark humor scale. In the prequel, the protagonist was the original Cain, from the Bible story. In this one she turns out to be the mythical Lilith, in this version a fallen angel. Yes, she's immortal, heals from every wound, can't die, etc., just like in the prequel, but she mostly growls, mutters throw-away lines, and has nothing of the arresting personality of the actor Henry Rollins as Cain. I'm glad I saw it, but won't be watching it again. As for HE NEVER DIED, I've watched it multiple times and will do so again. My rating is a generous 5.

Wow, an immortal who been around forever, but knows nothing. She's Lilith a fallen angel, so she should be more powerful that man can imagine. Instead, she cannot die, or plan ahead. Had so much potential, but alas, a failure on all points. The film did end with a setup for a sequel. Hope it's better than this film.

He Never Died was made a great thriller by Henry Rollins smart ass performance. Olunike Adeliyi is watchable but lacks the charisma of Rollins. The first film had comic relief moments which are lacking in the follow up. A series was planned but never happened. I was looking forward to Henry keeping the story going much like the John Wick movies. Biblical references are used without a proper context. The final few minutes are not well done but overall She Never Died is watchable.

A weak script is more than made up by the excellent acting and superb directing.
Audrey Cummings is becoming one of the great horror movie directors.
Best not to watch this movie while eating finger foods.

When I first heard about this, I heard it was to be a continuation of the original storyline, following Rollins's daughter, but moments in, I knew THAT hope DIED, because our protagonist is a BLACK woman named Lucy, NOT his daughter! Then, to rub salt in the wounds, it's like they threw the entire first movie in the toilet, and flushed... twice. So much we learned of the "rules" in the first movie have just been ignored for this one. 1- Cain was the ONLY, one of a kind being like this, because it was his curse from God for killing his brother, in the fist movie we see scars on his daughter's back where wings would be, so it's within reason that she could have a familial curse passed in to her, making it a believable plot point, but not some wholly different creature! 2- Cain said he was an Angel but kinda like a vampire, he didn't eat meat, because it would make him go insane, he also didn't drink booze. Lucy not only eats human body parts, she REVELS in it, she'll eat anything, but she specifically loves fingers, because according to her she NEEDS human bone marrow to exist, and fingers are the easiest to extract it from! 3- She's not safe to be around, for ANYONE, at ANY time, her bloodlust is so high that she growls like a wild beast but constant, and even innocent people who pose no threat, she will jump on them and attack them- "because I wanted to eat them." 4- She can take a whole helluva lot more damage than Cain before she's stunned or knocked down. 5- Rollins made Cain's demeanor very dry, shy, a loner, & quick tempered, Lucy is played turning that up to150%, it's SO annoying, it's like she has ZERO personality, and because of that, I can't be interested in her character, understand her motivations, and while she DID save1 girl, that was only a coincidence, so I can't possibly see her as anything but evil, so I really hope here in the last 20 minutes she either gets what's coming to her, or the wizard gives her and the tin man both hearts! 6- Finally and most IMPORTANTLY, Cain had his ACTUAL, Biblical background story, so we could all relate, but who the heck is Lucy? At this moment I'd say it could only be Lucifer himself! Beware, watch this as a movie ONLY, NOT A SEQUEL!!!

IMO This is getting poor reviews being compared by those who saw the original first because its similar and the originality that surprised those watching the first movie is gone. Well I've not seen the first movie but this was surprisingly really good.
Also I'm a white middle aged male but not bigoted against strong black female lead characters that at least one reviewer seems to be threatened by. Olunike is perfect in the role.
Its low budget but has very high production values from what the studio and director have to play with. The gritty look is very appropriate and to be fair it's better than a lot of shiny stuff going around costing mega bucks.
Regards to what I'm talking about regarding production values the plot is simple but the story well written and doesn't fall in to cliche in the way it could. The characters aren't original but ate well written and acted.
I will watch the original and temper my expectations because if its as good as its sequel it'll still be good even though the surprise and originality is gone. Sometimes our expectations get too high then we are let down
I also hope there will be another sequel to further the world ending threat being set up.
