HEY EVERYBODY ITS ME (4) and today we review ..... animal orgy results gone wrong 5 ....the movie !!!! Oh here we are yet again another giant monster / creature feature in the syfy world of crazy hybrids ...... from the early 2000s these films just kept going ... and there great ,.... terrible cgi half the time, horrible acting ...cheesy story lines throw in a little stock footage and BAM .... everything you could want from something called sharktapus vs pteracuda ....... these kinds of films give you exactly what you expect .... imagine low budget godzilla VS king kong ....so just imagine the original godzilla vs king kong lol... this feeds the inner child need of giant monsters battling it out for no other reason than some mad scientist getting revenge on the government or vice versa ....same old tropes just swapped around a tiny bit .... BUT we still love it ... cant get enough of it !!! Cheap and easy ... theres a bad joke in there ...but ill let it go .... but grab some cancun kids, give em some drinks say sign this and be in a movie .... ta dah .... you have a cast .... spend the remainder on a couple of cameos and pay your cgi team in sandwiches and this thing probably cost a total of 156 bucks and some change ..... good job guys .... BUT .... sometimes the cgi is SO SO bad lol....poor conan ... and some times the dialogue is rough LOL - scientist lady "i need to eliminate his aggressive behavior ...or at least figure out where its coming from" ...... hmmm maybe ..just MAYBE ..... its coming from that whole ....being a shark ..... AND octopus thing ? .... over all ... this one did feel a little long though ..... around the hour mark i personally kind of felt like it should have been winding down, just so much has been going on , keeping in mind this film starts off running and just keeps that pace for the most part ... it has few slow parts, so by the time its been going for an hour its been in the 3rd act for the entire time and i personally love movies that are NOT slow burns so this is fine-ish ... BUT like slow burns it only takes you so far before you go ...okay this is enough .... i mean we have monsters and kidnapping and spies and chase scenes and action action action lol.... 5/10 HEY the hamilton guy .... i like to believe is the same guy from the other giant snake piranha movie ... i mean i know its the same actor guy (ribbed for everyones pleasure) but i mean ... they should seriously just have the same characters survive and cameo in each others films all the time ... it would be 10% better that way ... like they did in sharknado and the lavalantula cross over cameo ... this guy needs to just be some mercenary hire in every film fighting monsters and shows up and beats things up .... just sayin ...

This is what happens when you give Corman CGI ! He could make these things forever. How many hours have been wasted watchingbhis films ?

Absolutely horrible. A TOTAL HORRENDOUS MESS. This might cause unexpected suicides. Do not watch this.

SHARKTOPUS VS. PTERACUDA is the campy follow-up to not one but two cheap and cheesy SyFy Channel monster flicks. This one has both Sharktopus and Pteracuda going on the rampage separately, and occasionally showing up to battle each other in scenes which go all out on excessively poor CGI. Elsewhere, there's a campy atmosphere reminiscent of the great PIRANHA 3D, lots of non-performances from embarrassing performers (Conan O'Brien's cameo has to be the nadir of this), and CGI blood spatter which looks incredibly fake. I'll admit that this film isn't totally boring as it's possible to laugh at it here and there, but good it certainly isn't.
