This movie is so bad. So stupid story .dont waste your time

Aaaw! Poor 'murricka! The Chinese get all the best toys and save the world from the aliens in a simple Independence Day copy! Get past the iffy translation on the subtitles, sit back and enjoy the spectacle of Oriental SFX houses showing Hollywood they have a bigger domestic market now..!

I dont pretend to watch a "happy end story" but this one...almost every main character died...wtf??...the final scene with the cell phone was even worse and bizarre if the text message would be answered

The whole actor/actress team is not suitable for the roles. The movie may be noisy but without meaningful content. Also too much music. Rebuilt the whole city in just 5 years, seriously?

Great Trailer Netflix ! And I was excited to watch the movie but all I wanted to do was go back and watch the trailer and I did!! So I have it a 2 instead of a zero! WTF

The plot might seems a bit simple and predictable. It is very similar to another chinese movie the wandering earth where the chinese is trying to save the world lol. The love side or plot was not as good, but remember this is a science-fiction movie where human fight vs aliens so those facrors did not concerned me as much. However, the CGI is excellent and made up for the simple plot. Overall, i quite enjoy the movie.

Well, its true. The setup is not great, character building is very little. I hate the very Asian aspect of 'emotional' teammates and lovers . I just don't like it. The CGI in all honesty is very poor. They could have used less with a higher budget. HOWEVER, like 'The Wandering Earth', the finale is entertaining to a very large extent. Every scene that the laser is blasted in, is nice. I just wish, the move, scene, by scene, was more polished. I wish they had taken some more time to figure out how it will be edited rather than just trying to throw in good looking faces, and EXCESSIVE CGI. Overall, 6 just because of the last battle.

Everything the Chinese do is fake. Fake fake fake! Fake Rolex, fake cars, fake iPhones, fake Su-27, fake CGI, and fake acting! The Chinese just can't do one thing real! It's unbearable to watch Chinese movies! Horrible acting, horrible plots, horrible music, horrible CGIs, and horrible directing! I miss the good old Hong Kong made movies, great actors like Bruce Lee, Jacky Chan, Sammo Hung, Donnie Yen and Jet Li! Nowadays is all Chinese crap!

Chain of events is very weird, logic sometime fails. Aliens are presented as idiots, also the command center defences are lame. Le Lan character had a role but I still didn't get what it was. seems like the humans know that the bullet guns are not efficient against the aliens and still all the command center troops are packed with them. The FX is great but shots of slow mo could be much better. And the gun... really?! it's obviously someone is trying to compensate ;).
