I wanted to like this movie but I just can't. I love movies that make you think. I'm still thinking about 12 monkeys. This had a lot of plot holes or just unnecessary scenes.
So Mr. Wallace, he's a guidance councler in the real world and still a form of a guidance counselor in the 2 other dimensions. Except, he's viloent, scary, and helpful? Why didn't Jude ask him a million questions in the second dimension, when Mr. Wallace led on to some knowledge of what was going on?
The playing cards, why would something that was just fun for husband and wives been a passport to other dimensions?
June, why was her sister killing her in the second dimension but was reversed in the 3rd dimension?
Jude's dad, why was he so evil in the second and so normal and cryptic in the 3rd?
Why did Jude lock June out with the Mob, to just have this boring convo with his dad, where not one question was, what the hell is going on?
Jude, cheats on Nell, who was a nice girlfriend, with June and just expects to go back to normal? What happens in 3rd dimension stays in 3rd dimension?
Derek, why would he step away from a keg party to play seven minutes in Heaven with a bunch of nerds?
Why wasn't everyone more freaked out that they disappeared? They acted as if they ran off together, THEY WERE ALL OUTSIDE THE DOOR, they couldn't have gone anywhere!
Why does Jude keep breaking pencils?
In 2nd dimension, how was Mr. Wallace able to walk up to cops and the angry party mob and let a murder suspect go upstairs to sit in the closet?
Why did Mr. Wallace show up in real world time, to say hey kids glad you made it? Was he aware the whole time of what was happening?
When leaving the third dimension in a firey blaze, why didn't they take their jackets off to cover the crack in the door? Use more clothing to cover their faces? They made a point of showing him touch the burning hot knob, it would have been cool to see a burn mark from it. A wow it really happened moment.
After the whole night, now Derek wants to try out the closet? Did he even have a passport? We know he is not going to figure out how to get back.... Which leads us to the final twist.....
After everything, Jude will be arrested for murder because he announced to everyone that he did not kill Derek, who is now missing, and finally, there is now a bloody murder weapon in the form of a pencil!
Last but not least, why did imdb ever remove the question forum? We need it for movies like this!
I wish someone else wrote this because it could've been cool.

The idea of other universes, dimensions, and false identities are an age old staple. It's been done since the 50s.
This movie explores that, when two 'teens' (mid 20s) go through the game of 'Seven minutes in Heaven'. If you grew up in the 90's-00s. You would have at least heard of it, if not, enjoyed playing it.
2 people, usually of the opposite sex, stuck in a small room for 7 min..... anything goes.
In this movie they awkwardly sit next to each other, before getting out of the room... only to find out that they are in an alternate reality.
It flashes from the original universe to the other thoughout the movie.
Good aspects-
Idea
Bad aspects-
EVERYTHING
This piece of crap movie has nothing good.
The acting is abismal, the dialogue is horrendous, and the directing, casting, and story, is just straight up sickening.
This is isn't even a 'B' movie.
Think of the worst acting you've seen, then double it.
Poor attempt at a good idea....
Literally a waste of space.
Poor Gary Cole..... he had no idea What he was getting into.
Terrible movie.

This movie didn't make any sense in anyway. I have never been so perplexed after watching a movie as I have with this movie in my life. Nothing is explained throughout the plot as to what is happening, the storyline has so many plot-holes and we get some half-ass explanation at the end which is supposed to make sense but doesn't one bit. Ending is super just there and that would normally be fine in a good movie that is well made but in a stupid one like this where nothing is explained it just adds gasoline to the fire of incomprehension. And it's a shame because the idea behind it could've been amazing if it was well executed, but it wasn't.

I found this film just bad. It didn't make sense at all and it had a little but of Invasion of the Body Snatchers in it. Now that was a good film.

I got confused with some of the scenes but realized that it was a good plot; worth watching with friends over

This isn't a horror movie. To be fair, I don't generally like the horror genre, but I had a feeling that this would be more suspenseful than scary, so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't even suspenseful. It was boring. I stopped watching quite a few times, but eventually decided to see it through because I thought the end would at least give a clue as to what they director was trying to do with the film. Nope. Literally no point in watching to the end.
I think it could have been a great movie. It seems like someone had a great idea, pitched it, and then didn't know how to follow through once they got the green light on the project. Characters aren't fully developed. Plot is all over the place and inconsistent. No moral to learn. Unrealistic plot elements like a mob chasing a car and keeping up with the car. If it were truly a horror film, adding enough scare moments to please the fans of the horror genre would have made up for the anemic plot. It didn't even manage to do that much.
I guess if your kid (younger than teens -- teens will find this lame) wants to watch a "scary" movie and you are okay with them being exposed to underage drinking and implied sexual activity, you could let them watch this and spare yourself being on nightmare duty for the next week or so. Otherwise, I'd pass on this one.

Ok so this movie was a solid 8. And I am a full grown adult. I thought the plot was interesting. Good acting. Relatively novel idea. It had me very intrigued until the very end. I didnt particularly care for the last shot as it opened up questions as to whether or not Jude would still end up in trouble but this movie was incredibly well done in my opinion.

I enjoyed this movie. Was it profound? No.Did it make you question your existence? No. What it was was a decent flick with a decent plot and I didn't hate that I used 1.5 hours of my day on it. It's a good movie for the Halloween season. Just give it a chance.
