Pros- Awesome songs and nothing. Seriously nothing. Cons- Useless exaggerated background music throughout the plot. Except Emraan, either over acting or no acting at all from other casts. Tons of cheesy dialogues. No new scares or thrills only faces and creatures jumping on the screen with a loud scary music which is happening since decades. Very disappointing. Please make some decent Horror. It seems there is nothing left to think in Bollywood after watching 1920 London and Raaz 3. Eagerly waiting for another masterpiece in Bollywood like 1920(2008), Raaz(2001) and Haunted.

Raaz Reboot, a film written and directed by Vikram Bhatt, is the fourth one in the horror film series Raaz. This film is actually a reboot, since it just refreshes our memories of previous Raaz series. It does not bring any novelty in the horror genre from Bhatt Camp. As in all the Bhatt films, the music in this film is really great, which is the only solace. But the songs are not interspersed properly in the screenplay. This horror flick is very much clichéd. The beginning appeared to be promising, but just 15 minutes into the film, the plot seemed very much familiar. It is very easy to predict that who is the antagonist playing the evil spirit. And then the mantras and tantras to drive away the spirits begin, entry of extortionist to kick out the spirit, all looked so much familiar. The film begins with Rehaan (Gaurav Arora) and Shaina (Kriti Kharbanda) relocating to Romania from Mumbai. It was Kriti's insistence that Rehaan should take the new job offer in Romania. Rehaan was not at all keen to take up this offer and shift to Romania, but he finally decides to relocate. This is where he had first met Kriti five years ago, fallen in love, proposed her and decided to get married. The initial shots itself make it clear that there were some strong reasons for Rehaan's uncomfortability in relocating back to Romania. There is some secret behind this. Though they shift, the difference of opinion between Rehaan and Shaina does strain their relationship (this was so illogically portrayed). Then the story unfolds further and gets into predictive mode. Shaina gets to see somebody in the house, she starts feeling the presence of someone in and around her. She is sure that the house is haunted. Various regular patterns of evil spirit's appearance along with special background music follows. Shaina finds it difficult to make Rehaan believe. But Aditya, her ex-boyfriend (Emraan Hashmi) believes Shaina. Together they try to find out answers to their queries. How the identity of the evil spirit is explored? Who is the evil spirit and what is its motive? What could be the secret of Rehaan ? What is the role of Aditya in this film ? How does Rehaan ultimately believe Shaina ? There is no second opinion that one would not find any challenge in finding responses to these queries, since the plot itself is very much predictable. You might have seen all these in previous films of Raaz series – Raaz, Raaz-The Mystery Continues and Raaz 3D. The performance by Kriti is average. Gaurav and Emraan have comparatively lesser screen time but they are good, although nothing much to do. Raaz Reboot is actually a reboot, since it just refreshes our memories of previous Raaz series – Raaz, Raaz-The Mystery Continues and Raaz 3D. It does not bring any novelty in the horror genre from Bhatt Camp. Watch it only if horror intrigues you, but beware of not getting scared at all.

I am giving it a high rating not because of horror, which was obviously not there, but because of its hilarious depiction of what all is wrong with current so called horror movies. A perfect husband neglecting his wife all time to work by sitting idle in office. A perfect wife with no expression except tears and well nothing else. A perfect bad boy, (boy? seems some guys never really grow up, bad? well no idea), who dies with a single hit with a 80's looking laptop. Wow, that laptop must have been a weapon of choice forsome good reason. A single hit kill? Is that a new martial art? Kung Fu Laptop style! With over the top startling background music, horrible make up and especially the conversation between folks just added more and more to its comic sense. With the theater almost empty the laughing of people was loud and clear. It's difficult to know whether its the marketing fault who wrongly advertised a good comedy as horror movie or director's fault who remembered after completing the movie "Ohh! It was suppose to be a horror movie". It would have done better if had been marketed as spoof of 1920.

Well, they tried again very hard to scare the viewers but I didn't find even a single moment of horror in this movie. I was laughing at the moments where the movie was actually supposed to scare us because of the worst makeup, bad sound effects, bad background, horrible acting . Really bad effects, plus a very weak story. There was a scene where a snake broke the car radiator to prevent Emran and Kriti from going somewhere. I mean seriously?? If a f***ing ghost is involved in this, then does he really needs a f***ing snake to do that task. And believe me that snake graphics were horrible. And not to mention, the ghost makeup was the worst I have ever seen in my life. The ghost makeup was so damn realistic in Hollywood movies even in 60's and the Bollywood people can't afford to do that even in the 21st century. I mean come on yr. Dialogues were dreadful, it was way too laughable when the ghost kept on saying "f**k you" repeatedly to the Hero. The story was a mixture of many movies like 1920, 1920 returns, Raaz (part-1), the Exorcist and what not. The climax was copied as it is from the movie 1920. really disappointed to waste 2 hours of my life on this movie.

Raaz Reboot has the same old stuff that we have seen a zillions times.Raaz Reboot is mediocre fare and may appeal only to fans of the Raaz franchise. Most of its horror sequences are so random that they evoke laughter instead of fear. That can never be a good proposition for a horror film.Though the film has a few scary scenes, it ends up being a clichéd love story instead of a horror flick. The music by Jeet Ganguly, Sangeet and Sidharthy Haldipur is melodious, especially the title track. However, the movie doesn't really offer you a solid reason for watching it. I would go with 2/5 for this successor of Raaz franchise and would advise not to watch it and go for 'PINK' instead of it.

Raaz Reboot is the fourth installment in the Raaz franchise and i don't understand why it's called a reboot, or why it's even tagged as an horror movie. The movie has laughable sequences throughout, like when possessed Shaina (Kriti) climbs up walls like spiderman. The movie tries real hard to scare you, but fails. The ghost, that is when Shaina's possessed, doesn't even look a bit of scary. In fact, Emraan Hashmi as a ghost is scarier than her. Towards the end, the movie once again uses the age old tactics of questioning God's existence and using religious practices to ward off ghosts and evil spirits. Fun fact : The makers wanted the film to be look as realistic as possible, and Emraan suggested Vikram Bhatt to shoot at the haunted Hoia Baciu Forest. But the forest was hardly used except for burial of Emraan's body and later unearthing it. If you get scared quickly, then maybe you should watch this movie for some thrill. Otherwise, if you're a big fan of horror movies like The Conjuring, skip this.

Raaz Reboot is the fourth installment of the popular Raaz franchise. It's a horror-*-love story. Vikram Bhatt the director of the movie is well known for making good and scary horror movies in bollywood. So does it live up to the hype? Somewhat Yes. The film starts off with a voice-over narration about love and life amidst the picturesque locations of Romania. It is here where the married couple Rehaan Khanna (Gaurav Arora) and his wife Shaina (Kriti Kharbanda) have recently moved in. Post that, the film enters into a semi flashback of events that mirrors Rehaan's resistance and reluctance of shifting his base to Romania. Because of Shaina's insistence, Rehaan gives up his 'average job' in Mumbai and settles for a plush and high flying corporate job in Romania. But, ever since the time they shift to Romania, Shaina senses something amiss between Rehaan and his approach towards her. When repeated questioning yields no answers, she becomes extremely sad and disheartened. Amidst all this, Shaina starts witnessing eerie and weird things happening in her house. And when she tries to explain all this to Rehaan, he rubbishes Shaina's claims of the presence of evil spirit in their house. That's the time when a depressed and longing for love Shaina comes across the fashion photographer Aditya Shrivastava (Emraan Hashmi). Aditya, not only understands her situation, but also offers help in overcoming the evil happenings in her life. One day, when Rehaan goes outstation for work, Aditya meets Shaina to tell her a shocking secret that leaves Shaina totally helpless and shocked. Does Aditya actually tell Shaina the reason behind the evil spirit attacking her, why is he helping Shaina in an unknown land and does Shaina and how is Rehaan related to all this, is what forms the rest of the film. The direction of the movie is superb.Vikram Bhatt has tested something different in this movie. Music is mind blowing. The best thing about this movie is its climax. All the actors have done well. Emran Hashmi is someone to watch out for. He deserves a standing ovation for this different kind of a role.Overall Raaz Reboot may not be as good as Raaz(2002) but way better than its second and third installment.Go for it.

i am just back from this awful movie , i know its late in the night but i cant control myself from writing review of this piece of crap. First of all this movie appears like hybrid resulted after terrible f&cking of '1920' & 'RAAZ'. There is nothing in this movie that you've never seen before. if you are really in mood to watch a horror movie just rent a DVD of 1920 or any horror movie and save your movie and energy. The movie is about two couples who come to Romania and wife start experiencing some paranormal crap like all typical horror movies. She tells her husband about it and he doesn't believe and some crap happens and they are compelled to seek help from a psychic and crap like that. positive in the film are 1 Background score is good but it is not enough to keep you at the edge seat. 2.location of the film in Transilvaniya {Romania} is beautiful. 3. Presence of Emran Hashmi. AND the negatives oh my god where to start with OK 1. First, i am going to start with story line, the story-line of this movie is like a decade old, and nothing new in it. its about possession of a girls and i think you know what i am trying to say 2.Second, the screenplay of the movie is worse than ever, its like you are watching the bgrade version of 1920. one can easily guess the twists and turns in it. 3.Acting of all the actors including the lead is terrible like shi@. 4. and at last dialogues are from the 80s. so please save your precious time, money and energy by avoiding it

I would like to request you(vikram bhatt) plz don't make horror movies any more and stop considering yourself as king of horror movies. I would also like to request you to plz don't destroy the career of a very good actor "EMRAAN HASHMI" by throwing such ugly movies to audience. Raaz 3 was a crap and this is even bigger crap. The only word that can be heard in this whole movie is "FUC*" MAKE SOME SENSIBLE CINEMA. MOVIE IS LAUGHABLE. NOTHING HORROR. WORST MOVIE. BACK TO BACK FAILURE:KHAMOSHIYAN,MR X,1920 EVIL RETURNS,1920 London OBVIOUSLY EMRAAN HASHMI IS THE SO CALLED BHOOT. DIRECTION IS WORST BY DIRECTOR!!!! RIDICULUOUS
