I don't know what amazes me more ? The actors that keep making these "paranormal" shows or the people that watch and think they're real? I would love to see something real actually happen while the actors are looking at their beeping machines!! They'd all run out of there screaming!! I believe in the paranormal and find these shows inaccurate and disrespectful to the subject that they're supposedly investigating. Like I said I would love to see an actual spirit or something happen to these charlatans when they least expect it! The look on their faces would make it all worth it! Karma's real so keep taunting it for some real action!

This is a slap in the face to the victims and their families. This man was simply a narcissist sadomasochist. Childhood abuse does not excuse murder. There was nothing paranormal involved. Study the psychology regarding rape and murder, and you'll understand the reasons behind these awful rapes and killings. How awful of all those involved in the making of this show. How terrible for the families of these young people whose lives were lost without reason. One victim lives across the street from me, and I was horrified and terrified. NOT of a demon or spirit, but of a man unhinged, angry, and.hateful.

I'm aware of the Gainesville Ripper story and it's truly disturbing. I was really looking forward to an engaging serial killer crime documentary but within two minutes, out came the "Ghostbusters" with their detectors, sensors, beepers and all the fake banging noises ..etc *eye rolls and a sigh* Danny Rolling's victims suffered some unspeakable horror, but they were merely background characters in this disrespectful pantomime on their graves. There was hardly any focus on the police investigation. I didn't finish to the end and just found a YouTube documentary instead that I could take seriously!

Not really a fan of the films, but thought that whatever it was based on might be of interest. First 5 minutes I thought it was some kind-of-meta-pastiche of horror documentaries.... Turns out they just hired the worst narrator ever. You know when you see a comedy sketch of a bad 80s/retro trailer and the narrator does a really dumb macho voice? This is the "documentary" version where the narrator does a "serious" and "dramatic voice. A bunch of people getting killed really shouldn't be treated in this way. If they took out all the references to Danny Rolling, they could probably turn this into a decent horror/documentary spoof, but they didn't.

I believe in paranormal activity, but this 'investigation' is just so unbelievable!!! First time I've seen this duo but for me these types of 'investigations' is why my boyfriend doesn't believe in paranormal activity. It is predictable. Moreover in other paranormal programs there is imagery or other evidence that something happens at a certain location, in this case there is activity at every location which would mean the spirit is haunting them instead of being stuck... Plus the reaction of both people just does not feel authentic...not scared, not surprised or any emotion actually. You're investigating a serial killer (who supposedly is possessed by a demon) so how can you stay this calm if things are actually happening.

It's the usual fake stuff, so fake that it makes you laugh until you cry of frustration. Didn't expect anything more, but maybe something a bit more entertaining. It's the usual: we won't script anything and you'll sit there in sensory deprivation saying what you feel while wearing airpods and like totally don't hear me at all and we won't edit this or preplan. We surely have equipment that says things from beyond the grave and we'll even have demonologist to fix everything afterwards so the poor people living here can get some peace. There's no story here, don't waste your time. If you've seen these charlatans doing their thing you know how it goes. And these don't even make it entertaining.

This is in NO way "explores the horrific story of serial killer Danny Rolling, aka The Gainesville Ripper, who believed he was a possessed by a demon and whose gruesome crime spree inspired the blockbuster film, Scream." If you're looking for that, it may be able to be obtained elsewhere, but it's not here. There is literally about 10 minutes of actual documentary as stated in the description. The rest of the 87 minute runtime is spent chasing paranormal nonsense from "Danny's campsite" to "Danny's childhood home." All the usual tropes and suspects are there, the ghost meters flashing and making noises, someone TELLING you what a demon just said in a distorted voice through a demon translator device, beeps and boops, and creepy music, and a guy in a ski mask running around performing, I guess, reenactments of Danny's peeping behavior, each time he's on screen, ending with him staring right at the camera for an extended period of time. If this is your thing, great, but I expected an ACTUAL documentary. If I didn't know the back story beforehand, I wouldn't even know how the Gainesville Ripper story applied to Scream, from watching this. This gives no indication except both have murders. Dumbest thing I've watched/fast-forwarded through in a long time.
