Kusum, a young married woman is happy with her life except for her unexplainable and sudden bouts of pain. A young researcher arrives and concludes that Kusum is not sick but possessed. The spirit in question is her husband Sharath's old lover Savita who killed herself when he decided to marry Kusum instead of her.
