It has become a trend in India to make movies in the name of History to milk money and create an alternate version of the history. This movie is no different. Production wise it looks ok. Cinematography is upto the mark. But, Canadian actor Akshay Kumar does not do the justice with the role of such a great warrior. Akshay looks like a comedian and should stick to the comedy movies only. 2 stars Out of 10 just for the Sake of Samrat Prithviraj.

It's the second Yash Raj movie within a month and both lacking content. This movie has done zero justice to the character and amount of history it carries along. I didn't learn much about Prithviraj or Sanyukta or Ghouri after watching this movie. Utter lack of content and it was painful to sit through the movie. Music is below average and is not worth watching in cinema. Even the battles were lackluster. I have lost another 2 hours of my life. Thank you.

.#SamratPrithviraj is one of the WEAKEST period dramas I've seen. Emotional climax, everything else is mediocre as far as the screenplay is concerned. VFX, BGM, sets & other technical things are average. Akshay kumar totally misfit for this role. Waste of money.
