Transgender community & Hijra Community is totally different... it's totally disappointed me! If it's Target a specific community, then should mention it, as it is! Transgender is when someone change gender and Hijra born as it is! This difference must be clear as it was main part of theme.. This a huge mistake, I think! Here those community show different views from reality, where reality is totally opposite...it can distract people from reality, and find wrong ideas. In place, we see this love story from an angle, where it looks normal, but it's not, and it's not fair! There are not every thing in the society is wrong.

Time waste there is no plot twist or depth in the story, just useless Emotional scene with any background about story. Last m dono mar jaate bas. The cinematography is an assault on the senses, as if the director handed a camera to a toddler on a sugar rush. The erratic zooms, shaky cam, and inexplicable use of fish-eye lenses induce headaches rather than engage the viewer. It's a visual hodgepodge that leaves one wondering if the editor accidentally spilled a bag of effects onto the timeline. The soundtrack, or lack thereof, is equally confounding. Random bursts of discordant music clash with scenes that desperately cry out for a semblance of emotional resonance. The abrupt transitions between genres further underscore the film's overall lack of direction and purpose.

"Think of it! A second chamber selected by the whips. A seraglio of Eunuchs."-- The movie could have been good but not. Although the topic is good, the whole film is made badly because of the story line and the script is bad. The director could not use good actors/actresses like Barkha Bisht and Jameel Khan. They were not given any place to act. Abhay Verma got a place to act instead of them. He acted very badly. In most cases the speech is not clear. Has done lots of acting. Cinematography is of very low quality despite having good shooting spots like Benares. Same is the case with BGM. The director would do well if he focused on the lives of Eunuchs and Bengali widows.

I saw Safed recently and was really shaken by the plight shown regarding the widows and transgenders in our society. To summarise, performances were really great but in my opinion, Abhay Verma stands out as Chandi. Meera Chopra and Barkha Bisht played their characters really well. Sandip Singh as a director has shown their plight in a very realistic way which might be difficult to watch for some but this move definitely is an eye-opener regarding the way our society treats widows and transgenders as some other-wordly creatures. Hope we see Abhay in more future projects as he is a powerhouse of talent. Highly recommended.
