If you want to watch some degenerates for an hour and a half without anything deeper, then go ahead. It is bland and dull. I literally just watched a scene of a stereotyped southern man snoring on a porch for what felt like 2 whole minutes. The story is stolen from better films and you get nothing worth your time here. 3/10 incredibly weak effort.

Very well written and directed! loved the color tones used and the story the film tells the viewer. Great cast and worth seeing!!

The screen play for this movie would make an extraordinary novel. It brings to the fore front the problems that disenfranchised individuals are faced with in America today. Taking a truly unremarkable rural boy and forcing him to confront the demon that terrorized his young friend, and forcing to flee because he acted could have been the plot of a big screen blockbuster. Skip ahead 15 years and you see how his decision changed not only his life but the life of those he held dear. Ron Pearlman gives a believable performance in this touching love story

There's so much to love about this film: the cinematography is elegiac and atmospheric, and sets up such a gorgeously doomed mood. The cast is incredible - the child actors are compelling (reminded me of 'mid90s', or 'Lawn Dogs'), and Perlman, Boone Jr and Pitt are such quality character actors - this film is rich with what they provide, alongside the others I haven't seen as often. I adored the 'Oliver Twist'/'Romeo and Juliet' aspects ... in fact, there's heaps in here that's classic Shakespeare - reunification after years, the inescapability of fate, closeness despite mistaken identity, the goodness of a person that circumstances can never extinguish. It doesn't overexplain anything - it invites you in, and you get closer to the trajectories of the characters the more you read them and their motivations and rich inner lives. Loved it so much. Highly recommended.

I only rated as high as I did because parts of the story really seemed to work and was interesting to see where it's going. However there is too much confusing non sense and the editing seems to ignore crucial detail so at times you're like wtf is happening? Why did that happen? And the ending omg did they run out of money? What a dumb waste of potential.

Good acting, by a solid cast. The movie follows Oscar, a young boy who killed an abusing father of his best friend Loux. After spending a night alone on the run from the law he meets a young street girl, Peaches. She takes him to her "home" which is nothing more than a band of roving pickpocketers, who prey on unsuspecting citizens on the streets of Tulsa. They are helped by Sway who has a good heart for the kids, and he helps to shield them from the real evil of Bird. Bird is the the leader and mastermind to exploit these kids for his own needs of money, even murder. The movie then flashes 15 years later to show Oscar now an adult, take his own band of misfits "The Lost Boys" under his wing to run scams and robberies. Then we get to see Loux who has not seen Oscar since he killed her father. She takes a job with a low rent private investigator all the while searching for Oscar with help of her brother. I found myself enthralled and anxious to see how it all played out when Loux and Oscar finally found each other again. But I was left with many questions after it ended. What happened to Loux and her brother? What did they do with the Lost Boys in the back of the van, lol? Did they rise up and get revenge on Bird? Still the movie was pretty good, with a solid supporting cast. It shows powerful bonds of love a friendship can help even the most wayward heart. I was say give it a watch if you have an extra 90 minutes.

This film start with a girl "Loux" driving with a wounded man "Oscar" in her car, and the flashback of Oscar younger self scene! As turnout, this film is about Oscar running away from his living place, after killing Loux father! And he eventually need to leave the gang run by a crime boss "Birdie", after Loux manage to find him! Entire film full of boring conversation, and overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the walking scene, and overuse of the song playing at the background scene! Make the film unwatchable! All the shooting scene also portray at sideways! Barely intense scene is, Oscar shot a police on the head at the motel! At the end, Oscar decide to leave his gang! Peaches prevent him to leave! Oscar kill her in the process! Loux driving him away! That's it! Wasting time to watch!

I hated this movie for showing us negative stuff like mafia, robberies, crime, violence, betrayal, revenge. Only feelings of anger and sadness. Then characters are mixed up and it is unclear who is who. Adult copies of young same characters are looking too different both by look and by character. Then story is unfinished. Too many things disconnected, nonsesnse, unexplained, occured without cause or solution. Very bad experience. Not comfortable to watch at least for people who don't like complex things and negativity (social and emotional).

Outstanding performances by the whole cast not going to pick anybody out they all shined Why so much hate I dont get believe me I dont like hard to follow films, heck I watched tenet and left more confused then before I saw it. This film was easy to follow and had a great friendship message it was a dark one but it's a testament to a true friendship. Excellent direction and filming was decent watch and enjoy a great thriller drama!!!!!!!!!!
