Rowdy Rathore : tale of two same looking persons.(without any logical reason , like foster brothers were lost in Kumbh's mela) Film is typical South's action flick, no extra-ordinary treatment. I watched it today in Housefull theatre. People cheered many dialogues and scenes with whistling and shouting. But there was no quality in dialogues or scenes. Film has the essence of films like Dabangg, singham, karan Arjuna, etc type revenge story. The dialogue delivery is too loud by all the characters, it's irritating. Go and watch it if you like Akshay kumar, He has deliver a good performance, music is average. Newton would have attempted suicide after watching many illogical action sequence of the movie. 1 star from my side ,because i got the headache when i left the theatre. Go for this but ensure that you left your brain outside of the theatre.

If not for the stunningly sensationl-Sonakshi Sinha, this movie has all the ingredients of a kachada movie. You can't expect much class from a Telugu director like Prabhu Deva (Vastundi Shigramu..Kachada moviealu-Bhayankara Kattivarasalu-Bhayankara Mustiyuddalu) who is not only the worst but cheap and un-aesthetic choreographer. By letting him direct a movie, the producer, the caliber of Bhansali, is stooping low and has shown disrespect to the Hindi cinema. The music is horrible, and it is a shame, if this duo, were paid for this malady of composition. The humor is low brow and stupid, very much consistent with front-bencher's expectation of comedy. Akshay Kumar,is the highest paid actor in Hindi cinema. He is capable of good acting as in "Patiala House" yet, he keeps churning out stupid, dimwit, buffoonary as in this movie. The action is generic dishum-dishum that a six year old street kid can direct. I give this movie a 3 for Sonakshi (who looks very much Indian as opposed to the imbecile imports, who can't act, dance or speak Hindi,) reminding us of classy actresses of yester-years, the likes of Vijayntimala and Sadhana. The rest of the movie is for the birds, with cheap thrills for the front benchers who relish and dictate the 100 crore movie market, and not for the sophisticated audience, which is in the process of extinction and this movie along with "Dabhang", "3 Idiots" and Delhi Belly" will only help to hasten that process.

A sizzling first half, aided in no mean part by Sonakshi's sensuousness, Akshay's comic timing and some really good laugh out loud moments changes into a fairly ordinary story of revenge, poor villagers and cruel dons & goons in the second half. Akshay is a small time crook aided by his sidekick, Paresh. A deo ad moment when he is caught by a lady cop, smartly stealing two mobiles from the same guy in the same day and a shot of jewellery walking by itself are the standout funny moments of the first half. Things change when he meets Sonakshi, who's visiting from Bihar. Romance happens smoothly, with humour and without a hitch. And then a little girl curiously starts calling him 'Papa' and life changes completely. The action in the second half shifts from Mumbai to a village called Devgarh in Bihar. Flashbacks, fights and crass item numbers happen in a plot seen a thousand times before. Nassar plays the long time ruling villain and Yashpal Sharma plays the long suffering honest cop. I wish the tempo of the first half was maintained in the second. Couple of unnecessary songs add to the general pain, lots of which is inflicted upon the villains and their henchmen and a little reserved for the audience. The daughter is only brought in to attempt to wring a few tears out of the cast and us. The movie is over the top in any case and not amenable to logic but even then there are some ozone layer size loopholes in the story. Also, apart from the 'Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita' tune there is very little musically to offer in the film Akshay proves once again that if he is given a half decent plot and dialogue he is very good at comedy. Sonakshi is super, though her dialogue delivery needs to improve and I'm sure it will over time. However, there is something about her, her screen presence and charm papering over any acting loopholes. The sequence where Akshay presses an imaginary record player in his head to make her repeat her actions was fun and nicely done. The fights are gory, lots of ketchup. The dialogues / story has a touch of 'Dabangg' about it and is enjoyable to an extent. Its not bad as a loud, mindless time pass, don't go in expecting anything else and you may not be disappointed. I don't think any one can give this movie anything below 10....this was perhaps the most entertaining film of bollywood and Akshay at his best..was always expecting a very good movie,but this one turned out to be something unimaginable,its simply awesome...This movie is meant to break all bollywood records and it wont surprise a bit if it breaks records of Dabaang and reach closer to records of 3 Idiots..this movie will do splendid business for many months.It wont be surprising to see it reach 300 crore barrier too.Akshay can e considered now as Bollywood's current best easily.Please note that i am not paid to give reviews in Akshay Kumar movie's favour but any nutral would agree to my review after watching the film...I would like to urge every one to definitely view the film at halls..this movie has everything,romance,comedy,action,thrill,it wont let you go for a single moment.

ROWDY RATHORE (Movie Review) ONE LINER: Khiladi Rathore In Action!! EXPECTATIONS: Expectations were high initially as Akshay returning to action after a long time, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Prabhudeva directing His next venture after Wanted.. VIEWS: Well this has again been a wrong promo policy. When the theatrical came and then songs promo came and then other promos came the film seemed to be over the top and cheap and below standard in my views. But after watching the movie I'll say that its not the case.. AK film KHATTA MEETHA suffered due to bad promo policiy too as it showed it as comedy but it was a nice serious movie. First 30 minutes of the movie are totally below average.. as the comic scenes at that moment does not create any impact nor the love angle is well shown.. but after 30 minutes the Movie goes on a high and high from when the girl came and emotional and serious RR starts.. then it creates a pure masala entertainer movie impact till end. STORY & SCRIPT: Story is old but the script is quite good.. Love Angle should have been scripted well. DIRECTION: Prabhudeva starts bad but after 30 minutes get the grip and never loose it till the end.. Only the Love scenes could have been directed well than he did.. MUSIC: Music by SAJID WAJID is totally disappointingly average. TERA ISHQ and CHAMMAK CHALLO are the better tracks. In my view CHINTA CHINTA is totally poor song and its repeatedly use seems useless. Dhadang Dhadang and Aa Re Pritam just OK. Music could have been much better than this so as same for the background music.. it should have been better. CASTING & ACTING: AKSHAY KUMAR came back to his favourite genre Action and he has acted very very well in RR .. He is the most Positive thing of RR. He played role of Vikram Rathore with high and role of Shiva great to with his bravo comic timings.. He Makes RR watchable.. SONAKSHI SINHA has acted quite good. But her role is not well developed. The character played by the girl of the daughter of VIKRAM RATHORE has acted very well .. She is superb. YASHPAL SHARMA & GURDEEP KOHLI are good.. NASSAR as the antagonist is quite good.. really acted very well. the actor played his brother is ordinary and so his son character. MUSHTAQ KHAN has good comic moments and dialogues. Other actors are OK. PARESH as AK friend is just OK. PLUSSES & MINUSES: PLUSSES: 1. AKSHAY KUMAR's acting. 2. The emotional scenes. 3. The role of the girl. 4. Strong intermission. And strong post and pre intermission scenes. MINUSSES: 1. First 30 minutes. 2. Music. 3. Background Music. CONCLUSION: Bare first 30 minutes and enjoy the remaining film as a great MASALA ENTERTAINER. AKSHAY KUMAR back in form..Wana Go for a Nice Dhisoom Dhisoom Entertaining Movie go for ROWDY RATHORE.. A team shameless people coming together to prepare a epic mental assault. These days there are many movies without story and i don't expect that in Akshay Kumar's movie but basic of film making was also missing. The director of movie was smart enough to add one song with every two dialogues of sonakshi sinha (obviously she can't act and that not required too when you are star kid). First half of movie was soo lethal that you will start enjoying second half on their shamelessness I would recommend this movie to all movie fan who have recently seen disaster like "Tees maar khan", "Mausam", "Ra.ONE" this movie will go on top in you disaster list.

I don't know why and how people can make such a stupid movie. Akshay is a good actor but sometimes he just does stupid stuff. just like salman khan. I kept watching this movie as i had to made a presentation and this movie just kept some background noise to keep me up......... I guess it just depends on the perception and level of someone watching it. People who like simple masala without using much brain cells, might like this stupid stuff....... Guys watch it if you don't have something productive to do or at least put it as background noise............... ignore the following,,, i didn't had much time to write a review so just filing in hut hut hut this gate male some where in the theater nothing special i don't know why i m writing this

This movie is full of comedy, Action, Drama, Emotions and Romance. It is the one of the best Indian movie in the recent times. It has a very good script and screenplay. The first half consists of comedy, Romance and colorful songs. Emotional scenes are excellent in first half. At the end of the first half Action kick starts. Second half is full of emotion action and drama at the end of movie lots of comedy also. It is a must watch movie Go for it. The cinematography and back ground score are too good. Akshay kumar's career best performance and he is back in action. It is a complete entertainer. Don't miss the movie

God.. this movie is just a waste of money... Just another tees maar khan , Don't Angry Me! Akshay Kumar bellows this often in Rowdy Rathore. At one point, the command even plays out as background music. I think viewers need to keep their brains in their wardrobe to co-opt the line. To all the directors, producers, actors who are inflicting eighties-style, low-IQ, deafeningly loud, unapologetically crass, mind-numbing movies on us, I just want to say: Don't angry me! Don't exhaust me! Don't bludgeon me!. God why are u guys doing a assault on viewers brains..!!

Today I had the perfect chance to watch Rowdy Rathore and to be honest, I was impressed. The move is another masala entertainer like Dabangg. The film has the same typical revenge story and the funny and epic action to entertain. The first half of the movie is mainly comedy and romance. The second half is the actual part where the story gets its main grip with the twists and turns and the double role actually works out well. The actual twists are what make the story interesting. Yes the comedy is good but the move towards action and the change of the full storyline with confusion is a good feel. The movie is said to be the 3rd biggest opener after Bodyguard and Agneepath. Songs are good, Chinta Ta Ta and Dhadang is good while the others are fillers though the Rowdy Mix is pretty good. Akshay Kumar shines and he is the main reason to watch the film. He executes his double role well and his action is awesome. Sonakshi Sinha proves to be good after an average start from Dabangg. The rest are OK. On the whole, Rowdy Rathore is a good film though it is a typical story these are the kinds of the film that people like and I don't mind these kind of films. There were critics who criticized the film however the audience only wants masala action comedy films nowadays and the box office collections are the main proof. The final result is a yes, though the film may not be your best crtically acclaimed film it will be a good film. Go for the movie but don't expect the earth from. Another major fact to mentio is real Akshay Kumar fan you will love it, if you aren't an Akshay fan you won't like it as much as Akki fans. I don't mind Akshay Kumar and he is good and this movie is actually one of his best action movies. PS: Don't Angry Akshay and watch the film, it is his comeback to action and despite the silly action you wil still be entertained!
