Roseanne Barr's new comedy special falls far short of the mark, showcasing a comedian who has lost her comedic touch and appears to be grappling with mental health issues. Once celebrated for her sharp wit and fearless humor, Barr now delivers a performance that feels disconnected and lacks the comedic brilliance that once defined her. The special's jokes often come across as forced and outdated, relying on tired stereotypes and offensive humor that no longer resonates with today's audience. Barr's attempts at humor frequently miss the mark, leaving the viewer cringing rather than laughing. It's clear that she struggles to adapt to the evolving landscape of comedy, and her material lacks the cleverness and insight that once made her a comedic force. Furthermore, throughout the special, Barr's delivery seems erratic and disjointed, raising concerns about her mental well-being. Her once-confident stage presence is replaced with an unsettling energy that leaves the audience questioning whether this performance is a cry for help rather than a genuine attempt at humor. While comedians often push boundaries and challenge societal norms, Barr's attempts at edginess come off as desperate rather than daring. The audience is left feeling uncomfortable rather than entertained, highlighting the stark contrast between her current work and the groundbreaking comedy she was once known for. In conclusion, Roseanne Barr's new comedy special is a disappointing and disconcerting departure from her former comedic glory. The lackluster material and apparent struggles with mental health make it difficult to find enjoyment in what was once a celebrated career. This special serves as a stark reminder that even the most iconic comedians can lose their way, leaving audiences longing for the brilliance that once defined their humor.

I was hoping to laugh as I watched her owned the libs but I couldn't even giggle at the horrible whining she did on stage. She is clearly mentally ill with only yes people around here, the decision to film this as a special was a horrible idea. Roseanne is who we all thought she was, an obnoxious racist who used to have a platform. Fox should be ashamed! Help this woman not give her a platform! Instead of trying to make a buck from Roseanne the people surrounding her need to say no and get her the mental healthcare she so desperately needs. I will pray for you Roseanne! She needs our help, please HELP ROSEANNE!

It's clear as the eye can see that the mob hate mentality is still trying to drag this wonderful woman down. It's shameful how these people are told who to love and hate and they all just follow along like lost and neglected puppy dogs. This show is just a giant bug off to all the weirdos out there that cannot comprehend the ability to just scroll on if they're incapable of laughing. So serious most of these reviewers are, it's NO WONDER the world is as sad as it is today. The people need wonderful comedians like Roseanne, Dave Chappelle and Don Rickles to remind them to not be so uptight and laugh a little. I pity fools who hold onto so much hate. This show was and is a breath of fresh air from the stale and boring recited politically correct narrative that's quite literally shoved down all of our throats almost daily.

This is more cathartic than it is hilariously funny, and that's why I loved it. But it's funny too, don't get me wrong. You just have to understand what this woman has been through and her pain. Roseanne was a champion for ALL for decades and they refused to allow her to even explain herself, to apologize. SHE had the first gay kiss on network tv, NOT Ellen. But they obviously couldn't control her, so first chance they got she's out. But here she is, she's still standing. She'll get back to hilariously funny. In the meantime, thank you to Fox Nation for giving her a chance. We love you Roseanne!!

Have to say I was a fan of Rosanne in her day. Unfortunately, her day has long passed. I don't agree with her being kicked off her own show and while I don't share her political views, I think the best comedy is often politically charged and offensive to a lot of people. But the best comedy is also ... well ... funny and that's what's really lacking here. Even in front of a Texas audience, which should be her audience, there was very little laughter. There's lots of cheering at any mention of Texas or Fox News, and booing at any mention libtards and Hillary Clinton, but the jokes mostly land flat. When they pan the audience there's women who actually look like they're crying. There's obviously a disconnect from her core audience at this point. She'll take shots at the rich elite and then make jokes about her Tesla. When she first mentions theTesla, the audience is completely silent while she waits for a reaction. Again, lots of cheering when she bashes trans people, the me too movement, how children need to be hit more, etc. But only an occasional smattering of laughter from the audience. As the material gets more disturbing, even the Texas audience gets quieter and quieter. The biggest laugh comes with a joke that starts "When I was alive..." and that pretty much sums up the night. I have to give her credit for getting out there again and doing what she loves. She's over seventy, she's lost weight and she's never made any effort to change who she is. The thing is, most people do change, and become better people over time and the times have definitely changed. Not sure if there's a place for comedy that makes angry people cheer, but doesn't make anyone laugh.

Roseanne Barr has had some troubles, and by troubles I mean consequences of her own actions. But, of course, this wasn't her fault, it was "woke cancel culture." This special is absolutely terrible, and not because it's offensive, it's because it's so unfunny and there are so few actual jokes that it is painful to watch. It's rather sad seeing her fall from her 'Roseanne' show, which had an amazing first few seasons. That was comedy GOLD. Actual jokes and characters that were relatable. This is just Roseanne standing on a stage and making statements that she knows will get responses from the republican crowd. Most of the raucous audience reactions were clearly edited onto the end of "jokes" that most likely got small pity laughs. Not worth the time at all.

This special is just a bunch of the same tired jokes you hear on twitter about pronouns and "wokeness." She even calls her own children "libtards." The thing about offensive comedy is it has to actually make people laugh in order to work. There aren't really any punch lines to these jokes, it's just a bunch of yelling. It's disappointing that people paid money to go and see this. As conservatives, we need to do a whole lot better than this. I'm all for pushing the envelope, especially in comedy. I don't think any topic should be off-limits, but this special was completely cringeworthy, unoriginal, and not funny. Go back and do some more writing, Roseanne.
