I loved this Hallmark movie so much that I didn't want it to end. Great acting. Great story. And there was just enough of going back in time to explain the situation. Did the sheriff's office try to find Revolutionary War records under the name Richard instead of Rip? There are Rev War muster records. Maybe this would have helped.

Time Travel stories are always a safe bet and Niall Matter is a favorite of mine. Best Hallmark movie in recent times. Chemistry between the leads was great. Pretty hot kiss in the rain.

Beginning with an absolutely intriguing and compelling story as performed by a truly talented and exceptional cast, RIP In TIME pushed all the right entertainment buttons for me. Niall Matter and Torrey DeVitto were a match made in Heaven. Watching them could put anyone in the mood for love. Eric Keenleyside had his usual magnificent performance. He gets even better with age! I have watched this movie several times, and I am now finding myself laughing out loud more often than I could have first imagined. This movie is hilarious in many respects. The bantering among the characters was belly-laughing funny, while comparisons and discussions relative to 1700's and present time, 2022, were so interesting. Love this movie, and Niall Matter deserves an award. Hope he will begin to get appropriate recognition. He is a super star, who always brings his A game, and I so love that he has the reputation of being a nice gentleman who is genuine, gracious, thoughtful, and genuine, etc.

If this is the direction that Hallmark is going in since the big shake-up with GAC, it's an improvement. No nosy mother or girlfriend telling the main character to get a man; her business is thriving instead of being on the verge of failure like in so many other plotlines; and the kid's father isn't "in heaven", but just a "baby daddy"(!!), which is in a first in Hallmark. Plus, now that the Aurora Teagarden movies are gone since Candace Cameron Bure jumped ship to GAC, Niall Matter has a chance to shine, and he's a much better actor than previous material has allowed him to be. The only reason this doesn't get a 10 is that realistically the media should have been stalking Rip and trying to figure out where this magical cave was. Anyhow, this film is enjoyable and more mature than the usual Hallmark fare, and I agree with other reviewers that this is as good as writer CJ Cox's other film "Love Strikes Twice". I hope Hallmark keeps up this trend.

Not sappy, tacky, cringy nor too much of a feel good too fast too soon, the usual Hallmark kinda way, type of movies. This one was actually fun and nice to watch with good storyline and safety borders on most things woke. Good job. Just one strange observation when checking the movie on imdb. Why is the eye candy actor, Casey Manderson, playing deputy Ted, not even credited in the cast listing. Now that's politically unacceptable for displacing any actor for his work, notwithstanding that he did have a relevant nemesis role in this movie. Overall, good job.

I love time travel movies, but i believe the movie could of had a better ending because all the elements were their,at the ending I was thinking of another movie called the two worlds of Jenny Logan the came out in 1979,What if when the two of them were transported back in time at end of movie when they were at cave got married raised some kids and left some clues what happened to them in past and hid some letters in that cabin house in a safe place so mabe her father and son could find them in present day 2022,that would of made the movie better to me,just my opinion.

Well written, spectacular cinematography and music. All casting choices were good, no affirmative action effects that are so common on hallmark today. It's been a while since they've made one this good.

I watched this because I am a fan of Niall Matter and wanted to see something different for Hallmatk. Very much enjoyed. Very sweet moments and love the entire family Interaction, not just the two leading roles. Definitely worth watching!
