Reversion

It looked like less than $999 was spent on this film. It is set out in the country. Aside from the white hostage, the acting was fine. The scripted dialogue was poor. The sound editing was the worst ever. However, the story wasn't bad, - just not much happens except talking, headaches, listening to the news and walking around a lot. Pretty blah considering he assinated the president.

Luke King (Isaac Stephen Montgomery) is on the run in LA. He jacks Jerry Wilson (Marshal Glenn ) and drives to a remote desert location. He is wanted for the murder of the President In Washington. He acts as if he has PTSD and is taking medication. Luke King claims he didn't do it. His clone did it. While this sounds like a Bart Simpson defense, the film gets interesting even without Peter Fonda. The production suffered from its low budget. Not much change in scenery. Not many actors and a poor sound system. I did see both "twists" coming from early on. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Man handcuffed from 2 days without food or water or needing to use the bathroom. 2 1/2 stars

An unwatchable train wreck, had to ffwd it just for background noise. What's with the sound, and the disembodied voices from the phone? Really odd, and not entertaining in the least. This deserves less than 1/4 star, but that wasn't an option.

After watching the preview for Reversion, it was only right that I'd check the film out. The plot is rather simple: a guy is accused of killing the president. It starts off slow but picks up steam 20 minutes into the film. I'll be honest, I've never heard of any of the actors in the film. However I will say this, each person played their roles exceptionally well. I have no doubt in my mind that these individuals will find work in Hollywood moving forward. The action is great. The cinematography is beautiful. The writing could use some work but when you're working on a shoestring budget don't expect to get Charlie Kaufman as a writer. I highly recommend this film. I'm a fan of film that get looked over sometimes but this film should be on everyone's radar going into 2021. Lastly, Isaac Stephen puts on a tour de force. Exceptional is all I will say. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch this movie but if you have absolutely nothing to do one day, I would advise you check this out.

I'm not gonna give this a bad rating cuz I'm not messed up and hell most of us if we had to act and release these movies during this year it probably wouldn't come out the best so props for them for making it but in my opinion I've seen worse.I suggest for next time to rehearse more and make the acting seem more realistic.The white kids voice would raise up and sound low quality compared to everyone else's voice.The camera quality could've been improved.The plot could've been made better but trust me I've seen worse movies that people have worked on for years and years and honestly this one isn't as bad.

The acting was really bad and the choreography or the fights made it look like they were practicing for the real thing. There were parts where the audio sounded terrible one second and ok the next! Story was pretty bad and the whole movie seemed like it was a couple highschool kids giving an assignment on film a good crack! I watched the entire thing and it was just plain bad! I suggest anyone wanting to watch this or considering it just don't waste your time and avoid it!

Yes, the entire motive takes place in a desert house that I'm sure they got at a steal of a price. Wooden acting and just terrible script writing and I doubt most people will last much longer than the 5 minutes I did before searching for the remote to skip ahead. But not much else happens. Hints to director. Please buy a tripod for your next film. Sony HandyCam videos went out in the 80's and I'm sure you can afford a decent one. Please get a soundtrack guy instead of using the same background music over and over and over again in every scene, it's downright annoying. Then maybe read a script before deciding to film something.

Script and story is non existent. With a lot of meaningless and repeated dialog. Technically this fails on every level. This product sets a new low for sound design / sound mixing. If one would cut our every meaningless scene that just serves to pad out time, it would be not even 40 minute long. Nice tax-write off Christopher Miles.
