I love it when characters state the obvious "why the fu** would we stay?" It's a question that everyone in the audience asks because it seems like the most reasonable option". I would have gone to a hotel 50 miles away or something and stayed for a couple of days to be sure, I definitely would not have stayed at the cabin and waited for the druggies to break my car windows. I liked the characters and the story went at a very good pace.

This movie isn't "brilliant." It's pathetic. It wants to be something but fails miserably. The writing is beyond stupid and all the ideas presented here are common horror/mystery tropes. It's not original and there's nothing in the movie to recommend watching it. In short, I lost an hour and half of my life, so thanks piece of garbage.

If Watched as a prequel Alone, the movie Just leaves you with a "no big deal" film, which, with so many things available to watch, I would Just recommend you not to waist your time. While the idea is good, the movie is just too slow and not so many things happen But, when watched as a prequel to "the endless", it becomes really great and it offers everything you need to know to understand both movies in a better way. So, yes ! Give it a chance and watch "The endless" then ! You Will enjoy two movies with great sci-fi, fantastic ideas.

I've also seen Spring from the same people, another movie which is kinda out there, and overall I've enjoyed both of them, but they are very light on the horror part in case that's what one is looking for. The keys to understanding what the film is going for are the title and the very last line. Most of the movie is a thread of unresolved plot lines which lead nowhere, making little sense until very end. What makes or breaks such a film, is how enjoyable is watching those individual parts without the full context. The movies is at its best when the 2 main characters are together. Unfortunately I found some of the other parts somewhat boring, like the conversation with the French guy in the trailer. Rather unique film and certainly worthy of viewing.

Interesting concept that ultimately fails to deliver. At no point was I spooked or creeped out. It was pretty dull up until the last 20 minutes when things began to get interesting......only to be capped off by an ending that made me say "really?" and shake my head.

An absolutely awful movie. Slow moving and nothing really happens from start to stop. And for a movie called, "resolution" it is ironic that this movie does not actually resolve what's going on at all. Maybe I'm just not clever enough to enjoy a movie that doesn't actually explain what's going on and just leaves it all up to your own imagination in the end... I hate when films do that.

It's disappointing to see a plot with potential frittered away. This was a half-baked plot made worse with a 1/4 baked script, and the sad thing is that it could have been so much more. Someone with money should buy the rights to this empty suit, flesh it out so it holds together and hire are real scriptwriter.

When i first watched this movie i thought it would be pure rubbish, so my expectations wasn't that hight.. But i was completely blown away! Michael (Peter Cilella) is trying to save his friend Chris (Vinny Curran) from methamphetamine addiction, so he ties him up in an abandoned cabin. But soon they discover that they are being stalked.. The characters are very likable and the dialogs between Michael and Chris are sometimes very funny. If you're looking for guts and jump scares, this movie is not for you. Its more of a slow paced movie that slowly builds a tension, no blood and almost no violence but still very spooky. If you like that kind of movies you must check this one out! 9 stars out of 10.

Resolution could have been boring with it slow pacing, but due it's well written comical bits it's still entertaining. I guess Justin Benson understand this shortcoming and fix it with the little humor on the script. The acting is tolerable and you can clearly tell from the production that it has tight budget. The plot in general is simple and decent, despite the "ambiguous" ending. Though they should've been take a better route for the ending, it's not that "bad" (arguably). Last, i'd say it's not as much horror as it's a mystery, sci-fi, thriller. And oh, The Endless (2017) is apparently a sequel to this film, i hope it's gonna explained the ending.
