This is an enjoyable movie for the Christmas season focused on a town's attempts to break a number of records. But, the producers are breaking the rules of such movies. Everyone knows there has to be some sort of conflict in the final half hour and that does happen. However, in movies of this genre the first kiss usually takes place in the final five minutes. In this movie, the first kiss takes places with half an hour to go with the second one just a minute to so later. What's left (Insert mock horror)? Record Breaking Christmas is a thoroughly enjoyable seasonal film (with three kisses). Enjoy.

This premise is fresh to a point. It is mostly similar to any Christmas movie where two strangers are thrown together for a big Christmas event. There are several events which are attempts to break some world record.
The acting and dialogue are decent. I got a kick out of the Leah trying to convey her idea using a kind of charades to do it. The inevitable conflict is highly contrived and makes no real sense. I found Michelle Argyris to be winsome. Early on her character's relationship with Danny Vo's Jin seemed to lack chemistry, but eventually they started clicking. There are no great highs or lows or surprises, but some of the gags related to the records are kind of cute.
