Going into this, I was hoping for an atmospheric, supernatural/ghost movie. It had been classified as a Horror movie in some forums, and being a sucker for that kind of thing I dived in. But classifying this movie is like trying to keep eels in a bucket. At it's core, it is a study in grief, loss and addiction, and for that it has a slight horror element. But the only real scary thing going on here is the all to familiar decline of a previously decent guy, through no real fault of his own {sort of} The acting is superb throughout, and the story slowly unravels its layers. It is not a movie for thrill seekers and gore hounds. It is a slow paced, thoughtful and absorbing film, and the pay off at the end is, perhaps a little predictable, but no less powerful.

ReBroken tells the story of a man who is suffering grief and is spiraling out of control, and his grief counseling sessions which appear to have nefarious intentions. I watched this movie for the same reason most people probably will- the incomparable Tobin Bell. However I left thinking why on earth would he agree to do this one? The story is cliche to no end (If I have to hear about following 'the path' one more time..) We are either in group therapy or at his home . No mention of a job or other activities to make this story feel alive. It is very psychological but not in a way that was interesting to me. I typically don't go too hard on low budget films cause the act of getting a film made is so difficult. This site has many amazing reviews of this film. If you look they come from accounts that have either only reviewed this movie, or this movie and "the path " which also stars this movie's lead. It is deceitful and that isn't fair to dup people. Know what your getting: A cheap, cliche ridden drama with uneven acting and minimal suspense. It is a pass.

It's really time IMDB did something about the fake reviews. 90% of these have only the one glowing review and they all share a similar or the same title. One of the glowing reviewers though does have another review... A glowing review of a movie written by the same writer! It says something when you have so little confidence in the movie you have made that before it even gets seen by many people, you are apparently asking crew and friends to hype it to the heavens. Maybe the reason you can't make a decent movie is because you are too dumb to be able to even work out that if you;re going to fake reviews, vary them a bit. You know, a couple of 7's 6's a 9 and no 10's because there are only about three 10 movies ever been made. In the end, this deceit is easily seen through and will do more harm than good which seems to be a nice bit of Karma.

I really enjoyed this movie !! There was a Great twist at the end. I thought I had it figured out but I was shocked at the ending. This movie is Well acted and well written. I also feel like this is the kind of movie you watch a few times to really get all the details and twists that happen I watched this with my 13 year old it's a good one to watch with the family. It's not scary but it's definitely thrilling and keeps you on your toes the whole time wondering exactly where the story is headed I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to tie up some loose ends in the storyline!!! Don't try and figure it out because you won't, just go in with an open mind and enjoy where it takes you.

So glad I found this movie. I watched this movie for Tobin Bell and was treated to a first rate thriller that was really an original. Grief, alcoholism, therapy and a missing daughter all made for an entertaining puzzle that I didn't see coming. Great performances lead by Scott Hamm Duenas and of course the great Tobin Bell. I really liked the story and the pacing as they didn't rush things. You try and try to figure out what's going on but never really can until of course the end where they tie it up nicely. Kudos to this film for keeping me guessing and interested for the entire 90 minutes. A solid 8 out of 10 for me.

It's fun to see a smart thriller that actually pulls off some really clever twists. And you definitely don't see the big one coming. Well done. I actually watched it a second time to see if I could see how they planted the seeds for the big reveal lol. Rebroken is just a really well constructed film. It's also got those creepy goosebump moments that make you love these movies. Good stuff. Also I don't really get into opening credits for a movie but these were cool. You knew right away that you were in good hands with this movie. And then the rest of it delivered. It's definitely worth checking out.

This is by far the best Psychological thriller I have seen this year. I came across it and decided to give it a shot after reading the summary of the film. If you are looking to be entertained give this film a shot! I really enjoyed the fact that I was constantly searching for answers and what would happen next. I was left wondering what was real and what wasn't, which is a must in a film like this. I relate it to Shutter Island with the mystery of wether something is truly happening or not. You will not be disappointed in this film I beg all who are curious to give this film a fair shot and share it with those who like psychological thrillers.
