Just a REALLY nice film without all the fluff.. and not commercialized as it shares a bit about a community I had very little understanding of.. This is great content that we need more of in America... no guns, no sex, no drugs... decency and common appreciation for each other.. This is a wonderful wonderful film that should be shared by all.

When I started watching this I expected it was just going to be the equivalent of a "Hallmark movie" (no offence intended to Hallmark addicts), but I was pleasantly surprised. The plot was not formulaic and I actually cared about all of the characters presented. I don't recognize any of the cast but they all seemed believable and while this won't win an Oscar it was a very enjoyable film.

However, the characters are well drawn and it takes a number of interesting turns.

We made it to the end, and there was a little reward waiting there, but it was a tough slog. A good bit of the dialog seemed ad-libbed, and those portions made me want to leave the room for a snack, take a potty break, or check my e-mail. Contrived - that's the word! And tedious. I had such high hopes, based on the three reviews.
