Not sure why many are panning this, as it's a solid movie and def top 3 in the franchise. This movie get a lot right. Tension, thrills and action. I love the predators look it's different and unique given the time period it's set in - 300 years ago. The story follows a young tribeswomen who wants to hunt, only to discover she things there is something out there, the predator. The action scene were good and the idea of a predator looking to hunt testing himself against the strongest clans on that era is awesome. Even preds weapons were suited to the period and not just all adv high tech gear, well done Hulu.

Well if you liked that you will enjoy prey, outta 100 % its 99% perfect on the vfx/cgi, that is a high score, its bloody and its harsh, and it turns of the main stream making it an indian/first nation monster fairytail, just a petty that they didnt costume the actors the native language all the way through, they actually speak perfect english, and it happens in the 1760*s. But apart from that its a gory ,well acted and produced horrorthriller, and the cut out scenery from the upper plains of america is just breathtaking. See it like susee and the grumpy old man did.

So, a predator who is almost unstoppable and can kill a bear with his bare hands can somehow not kill a small girl and not see his own laser?. Let's not forget this guy is part of an advanced race bend on hunting other lifeforms. The movie is beyond idiotic. I didn't know that it was made by Disney, now it all makes sense. In 2022, a small girl can be better than any other male over the face of the planet, no matter the training. This movie deserves a 1 for the political agenda alone. Also, the CGI is WORSE than the original Predator movie.

Firstly let's be honest, no matter what they do they will never match the original or even the 1990 sequel. Not that they are"classics", more just the fact they are very much of their time and I'm sure most people view those two films through rose tinted glasses. Especially the original Schwarzenegger film. Yeah I like Prey, it's a solid action film that holds your attention throughout even if it's a little predictable what the outcome would be. But predictable doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. Some great action scenes and the story has a few nice and subtle links to the past movies. Way better than the two Alien crossovers and ahead of 2018's The Predator, although that may be because setting this 300 years ago gives it a new perspective. Worth watching, out of the 7 "Predator" movies I'd say this falls smack bang in the middle but films like this are what they are, either you're gonna like it or you don't.

What is this and why? I know it's a scifi, but can we please make an effort to make things believable? I'm pissed I have to swear I don't mind female heroins. I love Alita battle angel, Alien, Mad Max, resident evil, all of them with female leads, but for God's sake what is this? Unless you're a teenage girl, give this one a pass. I'm only giving it 3 stars for the cinematography.
