The core conflict is slightly misleading, and the basic premise (from outside) may raise doubts among the majority of viewers, who would question how a simple disagreement over a parking spot could lead to more serious consequences. I can understand their concerns, as I had the same doubts initially. My skepticism grew during the first half an hour, as there were no major events taking place. However, once the story started to escalate, there was hardly any time to catch your breath. This was thanks to a fast-paced screenplay that kept the momentum going. "Parking" is undoubtedly one of the better films in the Anti-Revenge space, with a strong script that delves into the clash of egos between two self-centered individuals and their ideological differences, portrayed with remarkable authority and conviction. My only complaint is the lack of development for the supporting characters. While I was fully invested in the intense battle of egos between the lead characters, I wish there had been more emphasis on their families to make me more worried about their well-being.

The movie started realistically with day to day issues that people face with parking, adjustments not made between human beings for petty issues and ego. All the actors were good and did the job. Harish could have done better, mostly he just stared blank into space on scenes which needed an anger, frustration etc. Whatever good was achieved in the first half hour, gradually became bad & cringe worthy. The story was steered unrealistically and over the top. No body goes to the extent of character assassination of their own daughter or even to the extent of killing because of petty issues such as these. The movie also normalises fake complaints as if it's easy and the Police and Vigilance dept dont counter charge against person framing others. MS Bhaskar's character who was so concerned about getting his daughter married properly few scenes before, suddenly becomes maniac enough to drag her into a molestation case? Seriously! Thats taking audience's IQ for granted. Same with the corruption charge sequence, etc etc. At one point, it was so illogical that, you can easily guess the next stupid thing the main characters would make and I started skipping scenes. And I dont know why women are always made the scapegoat for the storylines. Movies should stick to the genre of realism from start to finish to make a positive impact.

The film revolves around two men who, despite being identical, differ in age. They lead ostensibly selfless lives, convinced that their actions reflect love and responsibility towards their respective families. However, when faced with challenging circumstances, their true self-centered nature is revealed, as they prioritize personal desires over familial commitments. In terms of the movie's execution, both the main characters and supporting cast deliver commendable performances. The screenplay is well-crafted, and the background score complements the narrative effectively. The film guarantees a minimum level of engagement, captivating audiences to the point where they abandon their daily routines to witness the characters' conflicts over a parking space. The central conflict revolves around the protagonists' relentless pursuit of a parking spot, providing a relatable and amusing premise that keeps viewers glued to their seats. The movie subtly conveys a poignant message to families as the initially affectionate hero, seemingly idealized by many, fails to uphold his character when confronted with the genuine responsibilities of impending parenthood. The stark contrast between his initial display of care and his later egocentric actions serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of consistency in relationships. In summary, the film succeeds in delivering both entertainment and thought-provoking content. The strong performances, well-crafted screenplay, and engaging conflict make it a worthwhile watch for audiences seeking a blend of humor and reflection on human nature.

Plot: tussle of 2 male (youngster vs elderly) tenants over a shared parking lot.. It starts slow but grips you around quickly like a crazy F1 car.. It's fast paced with superb editing.. fabulous background music which keeps you engaged throughout the 2hr watch...superb direction with wonderful scene sequences..fantastic leading actors especially M. S. Bhaskar.. It accurately captures the human behaviour right from low stages to the peak possibilities... Watch this epitome of male ego clash! Highly recommend it!!

This is easily one of the top 3 movies of the year just for the engaging experience it provides to the audience. Originating from a minute parking incident , all the aspects of movie making comes together in its perfection to provide a compelling package. The BGM , Edit and DOP makes a subtle drama into a thriller movie. The acting performance led by Ms Bhaskar , Harish and every other casts is to its absolute perfection. This is a Ego drama which most of us can resonate in our daily life and the subtle climax is a reminder to all of us to show kindness in our fast moving life. Absolutely loved it.

It's like watching a good thriller movie after a long time. The acting of the actors is good. The story and direction of the movie is awesome. This movie is an example that if a man has an ego he will go to any peril. The scene where he finally realizes that it is his family members who are affected by them and changes himself is very beautiful. There is no mistake in this film. Harris should give a good film like this. It was not only the family members but the two cars that were affected by them. Great experience, definitely watch this movie, it will be good, thank you .......................

"Parking" is a charming exploration of human dynamics, centered around a seemingly trivial conflict over a parking space. The storyline unfolds as a young couple renting the first floor clashes with a 60-year-old man on the ground floor when car purchases ignite a battle of egos. The film skillfully weaves together varying emotions and introspection, using the parking dispute as a metaphor for larger human conflicts. Authentic performances by M. S. Bhaskar and Harish Kalyan, relatable characters and a poignant message about empathy make this movie a delightful and thought-provoking experience. With moments of tension and genuine emotions, "Parking" captures the essence of everyday relationships. The film cleverly transforms a mundane dispute into a journey of self-discovery, demonstrating that beneath surface-level conflicts lie opportunities for growth and understanding. Ultimately, the movie triumphs in delivering a powerful message about humanity prevailing over ego, leaving audiences with a warm sense of satisfaction and a reminder that even the smallest battles can teach us profound lessons. A masterpiece tamil movie delivered by debutant director Ramkumar Balakrishnan !
