Outsiders

This movie is the first half of what could be something interesting, unfortunately this ends without explaining what's happening. There is some interesting setup and some interesting questions are raised but the movie fails to deliver on any of it. The events in the movie indicates this isn't the first time someone has mysteriously vanished from this town. That's cool but if you're looking to understand why there is no answer. There is subtext to read into indicting that anyone else has any idea either. There is a lot of drama and some excellent tension but the viewer is left with nothing when the movie suddenly ends the credits roll.

The film centers on Jaylon Brown (Skylan Brooks) a recent resident of Mountain Arrow, not known for its cultural diversity. It does have more missing persons than Taco Bell has "Now Hiring" signs. There is a story of a local who claims it is aliens. When Amira (Clark Backo) goes missing, Jaylon is the prime suspect and needs to prove his innocence in a town that believe he is guilty. It is somewhat interesting although not the most riveting science fiction/rapture type of film. The ending leaves the audience hanging and no real explanation is given, although you do see it coming. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

The movie was really solid right up until the ending..complete letdown. There were so many different ways this could have been done other than the main character getting abducted and the movie ending.

If I had known this movie ended so abruptly I would not have watched it. All actors were great. The story line just stopped, quit, cut off. Over and out.

This is a good storyline but the ending doesn't even answer why people are disappearing and what happens to them. Even the question about why they are the only black family in the town. The guy is a good actor though.

The movie was good . But a really crapping ending. Where is the rest of the movie? It ha good story line and action. Good actors but someone forgot to finish it to many unaltered guestions.

An indie piece of gold. Tense and fun throughout with super relevant commentary for our current world. The actors are brilliant, especially Skylan Brooks. Wish more movies were made this tightly.

A good movie especially if you like the sci-fi genre. Good action and story based in REALITY, besides the aliens of course, A nice flick if you can stop being a political mouth breeder for 1 second and just enjoy some cinema.
