Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is a visually-striking film that blends fantasy, romance, and a dash of horror. The initial mystery around the stolen jewelry and Basava's (Sundeep Kishan) backstory keeps you hooked. The film has its share of funny moments, and the lead cast delivers decent performances. Sundeep Kishan and Harsha Chemudu have good comic timing. The second half falters. The Rajappa subplot feels underdeveloped, the love story lacks emotional depth, and the ending feels rushed. The rich folklore and fantasy elements are introduced but not deeply explored, leaving a sense of missed opportunity. The film juggles fantasy, comedy, and horror, but the transitions can feel awkward at times. The cinematography is a highlight, with beautiful visuals that bring Bhairavakona to life. The songs by Shekar Chandra are pleasant but might feel slightly out of place due to the narrative issues. Story is quite unique blended with a touch of folklore. Especially Bhairavkona, the village which is a prison for souls soughting revenges. The story revolves around Bhairavkona and the actor. Casting actors have well portrayed their characters. I wished the story could have been knitted more properly as the subject was good. 2nd half could have been more detailed. Though it's not a romantic film, yet in my view, it wouldn't have spoilt the main subject. A little bit of more romance could have made it even more engaging. It sure that one will not regret after watching the movie. It's more then an average movie.

Basava (Sundeep Kishan) is a stunt double who is also a petty thief. He is in love with Bhoomi (Varsha Bollamma). Basava along with his friend John, steals bridal jewellery during a wedding and escapes in a stolen vehicle. On the way, they come across Agraharam Geetha (Kavya Thapar), who pretends to be met with an accident and they try to save her. Escaping the police, they enter a mysterious village Bhairavakona. As they face paranormal experiences, they try to uncover the mystery i.e. Bhairavakona and it's residents. Why Basava chose to steal the jewellery and what is the story of Bhoomi, forms rest of the story. VI Anand definitely gets the first half right with a decent blend of mystery and humor. The non-linear narrative too tries to work in the film's favor. As the first tries to keep the mystery alive and build the Basava - Bhoomi story, the pre-interval scenes make the right impact. It is the second half that largely suffers from the writing. The entire sub-plot involving Rajappa (Ravishankar) is underwritten. Adding to that, the love story of Basava - Bhoomi lacks the emotional impact it aims for and in the end, the proceedings look all too convenient. Despite decent performances and narrative pace, the second half doesn't match the first half.

The execution of movie is really great. Appreciate the suspense and thrill till the end of the movie. Sundeep Kishan and other actors gave nice performances. Family entertainer with a touch of suspense and thrilling experiences. Did not get bored at any point in the movie. The vfx could've been better but the story surpasses and saves the movie. One needs to watch entire movie to understand and to me every scene was entertaining to stick till the end. Although it felt like so many unanswered questions are there and it felt rushed and jumping stories, in the end everything fell together perfectly.

Anand struggles to establish a strong connection with the characters, which ultimately proves to be the film's biggest drawback... Sundeep kishan has improved over the years & has been closely associated with Kollywood recent years...While he convincingly potrays the role of Basava,it's obvious that the role is limited to playing a conventional protagonist in a fantasy film, but he does it skillfully... Varsha does give her best standout performance enhancing the movie with her emotional quotient,while kavya thapar does a decent outing...Harsha & Vennela Kishore are the biggest asset of the movie... Sekhar Chandra's music is just ok but let down by poor bgm...Nijamena chepthunna song is especially extraordinary mind blowing love song in recent days...The film has excellent visual effects and strong visuals...The production design is equally good... The narrative gains momentum as it progresses towards the pre-interval sequence. While the backdrop of "Bhairavakona" may resemble last year's blockbuster "Virupaksha,loses its battle in execution...The non-linear storyline might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's necessary for the final revelation... Overall a one-time watchable decent fantasy thriller.

A fresh concept interjecting the genres of socio fantasy, drama, comedy thrillers. Not boring at all. Worth a watch for fun. The action of all the actors is on par. Great acting by Sandeep Kishan. Music is good. Background score is good. Clean movie without any unnecessary vulgarity. Movie worth watching with family. Reminds old Telugu movies with similar socio fantasy concepts. No unnecessary songs in-between to drag the story. Both the female leads have good roles. Harsha's comedy keeps you entertained even as the story gets serious as we progress into the plot. The premise of the village could've been clearer for the audience to get a more immersive experience though.

Movie started with good curious content. Has potential flashback.. director tried to make it commercial with weak scenes and non sync direction.. screenplay could have been better.. audience becoming so intolerant with curios movies these days and story still have questions even after 2hrs of movie.. screenplay and editing both are soo bad.. Sandeep must try to do something to attract the audience like Nikhil is doing.. acting wise everyone did their best.. visuals also good.. music is satisfactory.. the flash back of Rajappa's daughter curious thing which director thought it as twist is easily guessable and the director could not deliver it properly..first half can be reduced by another 20min. Summary is story is sooo good and execution failed miserably.. Sandeep Anna story selctionis Soo good and he should concentrate more on direction and screenplay as well..
