10/10. This episode did such a beautiful job of immersing you into the world of One Piece, an arc that was heavy with emotion and epic battles. They did a great job of adding an emotional human immersion to it, a simple wish that most One Piece plans have; being part of the crew of truly watching their progression. Stories conveyed by average Joe's who simply admire the people we admire. Their attributes and courage, the desire to set sail and live freely. The episode does a great job of adding humor but also a great connection to moments that impacted One Piece forever. Hard to put into words what this episode did to me. I know that I will remember this episode and characters when Luffy becomes the king of the pirates, I hope they make another episode like this then. Till that day I will continue to be and admirer like the girl and feel part of the crew when Luffy yells "Set sail !" "Yeah !!"

The special episode of One Piece titled "Fan Letter" is a heartwarming and emotionally resonant addition to the series. It beautifully captures the deep bond between the Straw Hat crew and their fans, seen through the eyes of a young girl who idolizes Nami. Set after the Marineford War, this episode offers warmth and reflective moments, highlighting the significant impact the crew has had on people's lives. The smooth animation and meaningful storyline make this episode deserving of high praise, especially for its gentle yet profound celebration of One Piece's long journey. Director Megumi Ishitani's brilliant work shines throughout the episode. Her ability to craft a touching narrative with striking visuals brings the story to life in a way that resonates with both long-time fans and newcomers alike. Ishitani's direction ensures that the emotional beats hit just right, elevating the episode's impact. Additionally, the Marine officers are portrayed with a sense of duty and commitment, enriching the story by showing the complexity of justice in the One Piece world. These elements, combined with Ishitani's expert direction, make "Fan Letter" a truly standout episode worthy of admiration.

There's just something about watching the events of the series through the eyes of random civilians and soldiers that just brings a smile to my face. My favorite scene was the power scaling scene and when they all started laughing at Sanji. I think overall this episode might be one of the best One Piece episodes we've had in a while. Not that the other episodes were bad, but this episode was truly something special that resonates deep within me. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us with the next few episodes. I hope we get to see more from the people the Straw Hats have affected and how they view the events of the series.

Fan letter, more like a love letter to One Piece fans all over the world. Our beloved director Megumi Ishitani created yet another masterpiece along character designer and animation director Masami Mori with the helps of incredibly talented animators we have come to known over the years. Every department of the production displayed their full potential such as sound direction, composting, storyboarding, even voice acting. Imagery shown through impeccably creative storyboards with ton of little details like cover story references and power-scaling debates are only testaments to how capable Ishitani is while having a full grasp of One Piece as a whole. Plus, Mori's soft design and lively character acting animation/supervision only complements to such artistic direction. Storytelling is also masterful in this generational special. Showing the perspectives of relatively ordinary people in this universe which leads to them being inspired by the Strawhats and set sail to their journeys is very touching as we, the viewers feel the same every time we sat on to watch One Piece. We, no matter how unimportant we may seem in the grand scheme of things, can pursue our dreams and achieve many great things in this journey called life. Let's set sail to the New World and continue to experience amazing adventures. Thank you One Piece...

This episode was the best episode I've ever seen and it's outside the main storyline. Animation, pace, sound, character, character development, charm, and build up, all 10/10. With the One Piece main story on break I expected some good animation to hold over fans, but this episode to introduce a side we've never seen of the Paramount War arc into the Fishman Island arc could not have been done any better. Truly unbelievable and a welcomed surprise since anime news coverage was skeptical about a break and we end up with this gem of an episode. The One Piece team delivered a world class episode. My first 10/10 review and I'm happy it's with One Piece.

Honestly, what an episode! "One Piece Fan Letter" showcased the feeling of yearning to meet the people you admire so much and how events in life can change what we believe in. Most importantly, this episode is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of One Piece. The animation, overall story, directing, music, and other aspects are really well-made, and you can see it throughout the episode itself. With the same quality as the ongoing Egghead Arc in the anime (though it is on break at the time of writing this review), this episode goes hard! I mean, really hard! I honestly relate to the characters in the episode, especially the main female character. The yearning and wanting to express how much you admire a person through a letter, and letting them know about it despite the dangers and challenges it comes with, is dedication and ultimately fulfilling. While watching the episode, I found myself cheering for the girl to meet the person she admires (no spoilers, of course). Overall, "One Piece Fan Letter" is, in my opinion, a touching and well-made episode.
