A musical documentary following One Direction (a British boys band) on their European tour. They interview the band, their families and crew members along the way and it's intercut with concert footage. This is basically nothing more than a 90 minute commercial for 1D music but ON THAT LEVEL it's not bad. The members come across as nice, normal guys who just happened to hit it big. They make it clear that they're friends and don't take things too seriously. The concert footage is great--the songs are fun, the band is full of energy and the setups for the concert are incredible. You'll enjoy it if you're a 1D fan and accept it for what it is--a fun piece of fluff.

I went in to this movie with uncertainty. I saw it because I wanted to see if it would turn out to be decent. I went in as a semi fan but I drug along my best friend who was only going out of obligation. We became fans. The way the guys interact with each other and seeing how different they are and how that affects the whole group as a whole was so cool. Sure if you aren't a teenage girl the movie probably won't appeal to you but it doesn't appeal to some in the same way The Hangover had no appeal to me. If you go in there with a semi-open mind you will be able to see that they are genuine about what they do. Yes this whole thing was about staying relevant and making money but that's what artist do. But seeing Zayne give his mom a house or Niall be in his brothers wedding those things are what make the boys who they are. So before you say this movie isn't worth something it means something to the fans who have grown to love the boys from the time they auditioned on X factor to now.

The movie was great. As well as humorous scenes, there were also emotional ones. Seeing the movie in 3D paid off as I got to see Harry topless. I really only focused on Harry because I love him to bits. The movie will show the band's family's whom share their experiences and what they think of 1D. Coincidently the movie released on Liams birthday. Happy birthday babe. The movie also had their smash hits like thats what makes you beautiful, One Thing and their new song Best Song Ever. When I watched the movie, the amount of fans they have is unbelievable (including me). I am a directioner who like the fans in the movie want to actually speak to the band members. I think Harry,Liam,Louis,Zayn and Niall made the movie very enjoyable. Thanks Guys xx xx

*SPoiler* it its nothing compare to other Documentary films! This is Us is Really Great. I cried in a lot of parts. Specially when the parents of the guys talk about how much they missed them. They showed how awesome they are behind the scenes. And am not saying this as a Directioner But trust me when I tell you that if your not a FAN you are definitely going to start liking them after you watch this film. Just be open Minded about it. :] SO GO WATCH IT GIVE IT A CHANCE CUZ ITS A GREAT FILM!!! Oh and btw if you are already a Directioner be prepare for some laugh cry and Excitement because this movie has it all lol I cry almost thru out the whole movie tho. But that's because I am a sensitive person. I honestly didn't even want the movie to end. I was crying at the end cuz the movie ended lol anyways enjoy and have a great time! ***WATCH IT***

I loved this movie. I watched this movie for the first time when it came out. I thought it was going to be just another stupid biography but it was amazingly good! It isn't just a bunch of boys screwing around! There is good and happy moments and then there is the sad touchy feely moments! They are hilarious and loving boys who have made it so far in life. They are there for their families, fans, and friends and no matter how much they get caught up in their career they will never forget about the ones they love. Most people hate on them but after they see this movie they will take interest.I can't wait to see them perform live! Directioners... this one is for you!

this movie is amazing! i saw the look on everyone's faces we were happy and for me i was happy like a fool. So if you're not a fan why would you watch? i'm pretty sure if your favorite artists make a 3D movie you'd see it. They make amazing music that makes girls happy so why would you ruin that? my ears i can listen to whoever i want to, i love them so be it. i respect everybody's opinion but some people push over the limits! if they weren't that good they wouldn't even be accepted in the X Factor in the first place. show me if you can do better. they're number one cause they're good and they deserve everything they earn. the movie is perfect and i saw it more than 3 times because it's worth watching, i remembered why i became a Directioner in the first place, they're funny, humble, sweet and talented! no one could argue with that also they're incredibly hot! they deserve 10 stars :')

I thought it was a great movie, going into the cinema I was thinking that it's going to be boring and footage I've already seen, but 90% of it wasn't. The special effects and the 3-D were AMAZING, the quality of the movie was really really high. It was a really good movie, you get to see behind the scenes into their personal lives and also their thoughts and experiences of travelling the world. Although I am a huge One Direction fan, I recommend everyone to go and watch it, it really does show you the other side of the guys without the media and losers from school influencing you. I don't understand why people dislike the boys so much, it seems that everyone is the same and cannot respect others opinions on them. It shows a lot of concert footage and the boys lives on the road. It made me cry, laugh, smile and i thoroughly enjoyed the whole lot of it, and I wished it never ended! 10/10 FOR SURE! :~)

...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The movie shows the world a side of One Direction that's much more personal and real than the processed music might have you believe. They really come across as genuine, nice, regular guys...who just happen to be internationally famous. I think even if you come out still not a fan of their music, you'll have a new respect for them. You come out feeling like you know them, which I think means the film will have succeeded. By the way, I'm not saying any of this because I'm a One Direction fan--like, I promise you, go see it, because it's worth it. It's sweet, personal, hilarious, and so genuine.

And yet, by heaven, I think he will taste as well As all the Cornish hens Walmart will sell.
