This movie was fab. Within the first 5 minutes we were laughing. Teenagers are a tough audience and my teen loved it . It's great to see a film that the whole family can watch together. Some of the actors I remember from my childhood . Kathy Garver and Ruby,Rose what a hoot. All the characters were wonderfully Cast . Poor old man Jackson really did have a bad time lol . I haven't laughed so hard in a long time . No one warned me that I'd need tissues too . All in all it was brilliant from start to finish. Poor Mr Jackson just couldn't catch a break. The ending was a total surprise and certainly not what I expected. Go Homer .

I like to enjoy a good movie before going to bed. It has already become my tradition. Old Man Jackson is the amazing comedy. Incredible acting and the cast. The talented acting of actors Robert La Sardo, Johnny Ray Gibbs, Katie Garver, Lolerei Linklater and others turned from the usual at first glance comedy into a true life story with humor. The story of the old man itself causes laughter. You watch and realize that in one day your life can be turned upside down. At the same time when watching this movie, you realize that not everything is so bad in your life. There is a lot of humor in the film. Everything looks very dynamic. Everything that happens in the film is remembered for a long time.

I can't understand why this was rated so high unless the ratings are filled with bots or schills. Low budget, bad acting, weak plot, and way too long. My wife and I love classic comedys and we thought we'd give this a try. I wished I'd looked to see that there were only 71 reviews before I started. I enjoyed this lighthearted comedy very much. I had quite a few laugh out loud moments! I related to Mr. Jackson because we have all had these bad days, but not to this extreme thank goodness haha. I found myself cheering for him to escape his freaky unpredictable nightmare of a day. David Born was made to play this role. Kathy Garver shined as always. I always like watching Robert LaSardo so that was a win. Director Johnny Ray Gibbs not only wrote this film, but also acts in it. His hard work and effort paid off! Great job! Even the music was engaging and fitting for the action happening in the film. The camera work was great, as was the editing. Definitely worth a watch. Great film!

Without giving out spoilers it's a funny and relatable movie. If you've ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong you'll definitely find this relatable and funny. Well written and great actors, also added bonus if you're from south east Texas Houston/Pearland area you will see alot of familiar places. I really enjoyed watching this movie! It's rare to find an independent film that's actually funny but this film delivers! It's a very slapstick kind of comedy. The storyline is hilarious and well executed. It is also family friendly so everyone can watch it. I would say it's equivalent to a PG rated film. This movie was also locally filmed and I appreciate any film filmed in Texas using local actors. But don't be fooled, the film has some big name actors and cameos too. If you need something light hearted and funny, this is the movie for you! It is a little longer than a typical comedy, but still funny nonetheless.

WOW, Just saw this movie for the first time last night, didn't think anything of it at first but I wanted to see something new that I have never seen before and this movie was definitely it! It was a very heartwarming comedy movie, fun for the whole family and you'll definitely be laughing throughout the whole movie. If you are looking for something new to watch and a comedy then this is a must see! I give it a 5 out if 5 star rating, I definitely will be buying this movie once it comes out! I would definitely give it a try, David Born is seriously a comedian legend he will keep you laughing, this should be added to the best comedy movies of 2023!

The movie has what seems to be a slow start, but it sets up many things later, so make sure you keep watching. I didn't realize how funny it was going to be, so I kept watching and I was impressed and at times in stitches. I love haphazard slapstick comedy. Buford needs his own spinoff btw. I would recommend this film for anyone that needs a good laugh and as far as I could tell, there is no cursing at all and no nudity either. It's family friendly. Without spoiling anything, also pay close attention to the medical staff. I worked at a hospital, and I found it hilarious and a What NOT to do thing. Enjoy!!

A well made indie film that is geared to be light and funny entertainment. It's not Shakespeare but it serves its purpose. The trials of an everyman - just like many Charlie Chaplin films. 99% of this film being a day in the life of a fellow where everything goes wrong in a comedic sense as he tries to get back home. Great cameos here and there. David Born as that everyman, doesn't miss a beat - as the lead in this "The Odyssey meets Buster Keaton" esk film. I did like that as a running gag the lead keeps ending up in the same hospital but much worse for the wear each time. Many of his trials we can all associate with. Also his reaching out to the Catholic church only to be confronted by the priest and then chased out on his ear by the very funny nun bearing an active ruler.
