This movie centers around a paranormal seekers type television show that is seeking signs of Big Foot. What they find instead is a spiral time infused enigma of a conundrum. Meditive film that sparks thoughtfulness rather than scares, and yet confusion can be unsettling enough to offer some fright.

A nice start. But no real ending. Yes, I suppose this is one of those films where you are supposed to draw your own conclusions. Or, a lazy writer who ran out of ideas.

This movie starts off slow, the middle is slow and the ending is non-existent. A few times I thought something would actually happen. It never did. I was hoping Bigfoot would attack all of them.

I watched long enough to realize this was not worth the investment. It was not intriguing in a way to hold my attention.

At the time of writing this review, the overall score is a solid 3 and I think that is a fair assessment. Its basically a story looking for an ending. A long road to nowheresville.
TLDR: Avoid. You can do better with your time.

Some lovely and etheric shots...the lake with the lily pads is one example. This story really is about the illusions we labor under, the stories we choose to keep and the ones we should discard. What is our birthright? Is it the stories our culture try to impress upon us or is it the sacred stories our elders attempt to transmit? How do we choose what to keep and what doesn't serve us? This movie tells the story of the traps we ourselves create and the mistakes we must repeat again and again until we find our center, and thus, our truth. The actor who played the father was especially powerful...as were the scenes with the little girl. A sweet ode to relationship and what our truth is.

This film will keep you watching for more. Many layers of meaning. Will definitely need to watch this again to see things ive missed first time round.
When you step towards the magic of nature - it comes closer
Impressive acting from all the cast. Megan Hensley has beautiful eyes, and holds a strong position throughout. Also Daniel Bielinski does well at playing a scumbag lol.
You can tell when you have a good film because you care about the characters.
Well done all.

I've been challenging myself to watch more movies that I'm unfamiliar with; ones that are not necessarily "trending" at the moment. I find myself more present viewing them when I do this. I stumbled across "Nina of the Woods" and am so happy I did! This genre is totally up my alley, and will be for you too if you enjoy sci-fi, thrillers, or movies that make you think and pay attention to the details. This film captures art in a very unique, thoughtful, and creative way.
