"Needle in a Timestack" should be viewed as a drama set in a science fiction background. If you think it's a science fiction film, you'll be bored. If you view it as a drama, it would be interesting, because it's about all the could haves and should haves in life. It is about the regrets and sorrows of life, and what you would do to change it if you could go back time.

... they really don't do anything with. It's a missed opportunity and the end result is pretty boring. It's not a bad movie either. Check if you're a fan of scifi though.

I love this movie. Easy to watch, a slow but exciting build. My favorite actor can do no wrong. The chemistry between the two leads is phenomenal and I watch this movie over and over. I love seeing beautiful healthy relationships on film.

Really dumb science fiction. The sets, props, clothing, language, etc. Seemed present day, but the premise of casually going into the past with an effort equivalent to going shopping is just dumb on many levels. The movie's CGI makes the actual time shift (phasing) look like an ocean wave overpowering a city (maybe less or more - not clear). In fact it was so made-up unexplained that the idea felt tossed into the movie with no attempt to explain what or how it works. Most of the screen time was romance, marriage, mistrust, doubt, infidelity in part caused by changing one's past. Anyone with even a middle schooler's knowledge of time travel will laugh at the premises in this script.

At first I was wondering why this had such low ratings cuz the movie started out so well. The concept was great. But the whole plot hinges on us supposed to want Nick and Janine to end up together. But sorry to say that actress who played Janine was supremely horrible in her acting! She also had no chemistry with the lead or Orlando Bloom's character. And her character behaved in such an unlikeable way, I didn't want any of the characters to end up with her. The movie is about 20 minutes too long. My guess is the director also felt that there was no chemistry between Janine and Nick that he felt he had to add longer scenes of them together to get us to believe they were a loving couple. The overexagerated melodrama overkilled the sci fi and any romance aspects in the movie ... which on their own I'd probably still have given this maybe a 6 rating. But jeez that actor who played Janine just did it so horribly that She pulled the rating down to a 2. Please skip this movie.

It's s love story. It's about what if we child turn back time. It's not about the science or time travel... that's what lies in the background. It was very good. They didn't want to concentrate on the science but rather if it existed the chances we would take, the choices we would make, and the conse concerning love. If you enjoy a good love story give it a chance.

The only time that travels is slowly for the two hours to get through 30 minutes worth of material. If you're looking for a time travel movie, this is not it. If you're looking for a boring and predictable no chemistry romance, this is it. The best scene was the last five seconds, where it was a bit powerful, and also because I was grateful for it to end.

This film is a beautiful story of soulmates and how even time travel that has been altered to eliminate their relationship isn't strong enough to tear them apart. Love truly does conquer all. I loved this movie. I do wish the ending was a little more satisfying but overall this film was deeply moving and thought provoking. If you believe in soulmates and the power of love over all, you'll appreciate the message in this film. I'm rating this a 10 for it's originality and concept, the acting was superb and the cinematography was beautiful. It deserves a much higher rating than it's getting. I think most people didn't realize this was a sci-fy love story and not a sci-fy adventure or sci-fy thriller. I went in knowing that the movie was a romance/drama with a sci-fy twist , which is honestly my favorite type of movie.

It is a good love story I love the ending and the storyline. Heart touching Fantasy love story. Bit boring according to above genres, good as a love story, I love it. Just give it time patiencely if u are a fantasy story and a love story movie lover!
