I cant believe what some people are saying about this film, Its s kool film and i dont care what anybody says, i love this film so much i bought it. So go on, hire it out, its great to watch what makes this film so good is the comedy, Action, Drama all mixed in one,

What a boredom. What a waste of good actors.... ...and of my time After watching this movie, you must be crazy, not to join the Navy. Interesting people, action, hightech-equipment and whenever a Navy-Seal makes a mistake, it is caused by his "good-heart". Funny lads and good parties... Never seen an Advertisement for war? watch this

This is so bad that if I would puke at everytime it was being unrealistic, i would be swimming. Half the movie was spent brainlessly rolling around, while shooting a gun with infinite ammunition. Charlie Sheen was a drunken bum."GOD" Had a sniper rifle that fired tiny grenades. 1/10.

the movie is not anything like Navy Seals in real life because in the movie they do a lot of things the military would not do. The film is not military accurate so if the stars were really Navy Seals in real life, they would be court Marshalled or discharged. The stars of this movie including Michael Biehn do not give good performances, Michael Biehn is okay but he does not fit the tough guy/action hero image, he's good but don't put him in the same category as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone or Chuck Norris. As for Charlie Sheen he's okay but does better in other genres he is more commonly in. I would recommend films from any of the big name action film stars.

This movie is as good as as any mission impossible movies so give this one att least a 7 in rating. Charlie Sheen is great as an adrenaline junkie")

Unfortunately, one can see that this film wants so badly to be Top Gun. Basically all aspects of this film (except for depicting Navy Seals instead of fighter pilots and things related to that) and especially the soundtrack seem to have better counterparts in Top Gun. If that wasn't the case and you added some realism, this movie would be significantly better. Basically the biggest problem with this movie is that Top Gun did it better. Otherwise, it's just a switch-your-brains-off action flick that could use some realism.

This movie is non stop action!!! Pure excitement, with amazing actors , Charlie sheen , micheal bien, and that allstate guy ( lol)... you will Absolutly love this movie

I've always believed that certain actors only make good movies and with a cast like Michael Biehn, Charlie Sheen and Bill Paxton Navy Seals couldn't had turned out to be a bad one. Many have said this is much like Top Gun but on the ground, however i disagree since Navy Seals although far from realistic is a lot more realistic than Top Gun ever was (the ones that know about aircraft know what i mean). I must have seen this movie over 10 times and i already own it on Blu-Ray and will probably see it 10 more mainly because of the way Sheen and Biehn act in it. Could it had been better ? Sure it could, which movie can't ? But to me Navy Seals is up there with The Rock another one of my favorite movies with Michael Biehn in it once again.

This movie is the reason why I've always wanted to become a Navy SEAL. There's a lot of action and a little bit of comedy and drama. This movie has one of the best fire fights that I've seen in Hollywood. Charlie Sheen, Michael Biehn, and the rest of the cast did an amazing job. I've lost track of how many times I've seen this movie, it would have been nice if there was a sequel. There are a few mistakes made in this movie that are unrealistic & incorrect, and a few things I would have done differently which would have made this a 5/5 star movie. This will always be one of my all time favorite movies, it should be at least 7.5 stars in my opinion.
