Loved it...awesome movie for movie lovers... Must watch.

Venkatesh emotions are super to watch .A feast for eyes.

Toned downed the issues portrayed in the original film, Asuran, to problems within a family, such a travesty! The original Asuran (dubbed in Telugu) is way better than the Telugu remake, Narappa.

This movie is as good as Asuran. All the actors performance was great to watch and Venkatesh carried the whole movie, in the beginning when I've heard the news about remake I had my doubts but VV proved me wrong. Couple of things bothered me while watching the movie though. Priyamani's voice is the worst thing that happened to this movie, her voice and slang are annoying throughout the movie and didn't feel natural at all whenever she says something I was cringing hard, they should have used a dubbing artist instead. Another issue is music, why did Mani Sharma get credit for the music? He used the same music & tunes from Asuran which was composed by G. V. Prakash, they should have used GV and given him credit instead of bringing in Mani to use the same score. Other than these two things movie is enjoyable with family.

Venkatesh's screen presence is what wanted for the story and they dont spoil the plot.

Every actor show their mark, Venki mama always showing his 100% effort for his character.

Asuran is a good movie. Dhanush portrays a character which has an age of around 35-40. His body language is different. He did justice to his role. But Narappa is pure magic. Only because of Venkatesh. He portrays a mature character which has an age of 45-50. His body language was extraordinary. The way he walks, the way he looks and the ways he smiles, he literally outlived the character. Through out the movie he carried the attitude of a drunken coward with pain and helplessness because of social backwardness with aggression still hidden deep down inside. His eyes spoke many words than his lips through out the movie. Such a top notch performance. Dhanush also did the same. But venkatesh acting was much sweeter and everlasting than Dhanush. Dhanush felt bit younger to portray a father of three. Venkatesh is just perfect fit and he nailed it. GV prakash bgm acted as a catalyst for this mesmerizing emotional ride. In my opinion, Asuran - 3.5/5 Narappa - 4.1/5.

This is how u make a remake, venkatesh performance in emotional scenes provee why he is one of the best actors in India, never felt like it is a remake.

Best of all time he never disapoiints the fans even if it is remake it doesnt felles like remake. Love you raja as a fan of victory venkatesh.
