Several story lines in one mystery, intertwined then unraveled as resolved. I love the chemistry between Jill Wagner and Kristopher Polaha. Did question a swim in heavy clothing but it worked for the script. Teaser set my mind to whirling. Eleven months later?

I had to rewind 5 times to see if I heard the last line correctly. They are madly in love and 11 months later she has a new fiancee. Are we going to find out what happened? It has been being months since this episode. Waiting for next.. This is the best series of MN_&M.

The entire episode was good until the final minute. It ruins everything and I literally mean everything. You'll never want to watch another episode of this after you see it unfortunately. Right when you think it's going to be your favorite episode next, it take a turn for the worst. We just want a fun movie with a happy ending that's all. If we wanted a stupid cliffhanger ending that makes you hate the show we wouldn't be watching Hallmark. Really ticked off about it.

I usually love these, but I have no idea what happened here. It's like they were going out of their way to make it complex but forgot what balls they had up in the air. The most egregious was the whole story with the TA. At one point she says it's the first time she's been back to her apartment and the next she says she had the other professor over for dinner a few nights earlier. Then she insisted the documents were stolen and she never asked the other professor to help her when in fact that's exactly what she did. But nobody seems to even notice those lies let alone explain why she lied. And I'm sorry but you don't jump overboard and swim halfway across a cold lake. I don't care what kind of swimmer you used to be in your youth, unless you keep up with it, you're not automatically a strong swimmer 2 decades later. I give them credit for throwing us a curveball at the end, but I have mixed feelings about it. Not sure how they'll explain them breaking up and Amy meeting someone else and getting engaged all in 11 months. I'll wait and see how that plays out. But this entry could have benefitted from a lot more attention.

5/10 - I'm afraid this is the weakest entry in the Mystery 101 series so far and was not a very engaging mystery all in all.

In the last minutes of the the last movie we discovered that Amy's uncle disappeared, so this is where this movie picked up. Amy, Travis and Graham fly across the country to NYC to find out what happened and even help with the investigation. Have I mentioned I love these movies? I love the main characters, they chemistry between Kristoffer and Jill and this was no exception, their characters had few but very sweet moments. I'm not gonna lie, this case was quite tough to follow, so many characters, so many possibilities, and in the end we discover that there were like three different storylines all wrapped up in one. Also, has any of the writers heard of the word "jurisdiction?" Okay, moving on. I did miss Amy teaching class, I find it so interesting when they link her class to the case. Fact: Around the minute 55 you can see a few people wearing masks. Now that ending? I hate it and love it at the same time. Why? Firstly, because of the cliffhanger and it leaves us wondering what the heck happened in those 11 months (I'm PRETTY SURE it will be a huge misunderstanding, they surely mislead us on purpose), however I love it because it's confirmed we will have another movie, I wish it's sometime this year (yeah I know Jill was pregnant in this one) but one can hope right?

He couldn't make a call on a dead landline? Who, other than my stubborn brother, doesn't have a cell phone in 2021. Also, a loved one is missing and she flips from concern to trying to seduce a man and laughing. The movie is so poorly done. No chemistry between actors, no emotion. And good grief, the protagonist isn't in good enough shape to swim across a lake in heavy and arrive NOT out of breath. Sheesh Background production so poor. Typical of hallmark.

I love how the movie keeps the audience guessing the whole time. Sure, a lot of characters were giving out weird vibes but they really didn't give much a way. The last few seconds are jarring, but it's Hallmark... we know it'll all be okay in the end!

The story was kinda convoluted but they always are in these. I did not guess the ending, but it was still entertaining. The leads Travis and Amy are THE reason to watch. AND this one has a teaser for another installment. Twrtining.
