I felt rather uncomfortable watching this movie with my kids. There was lots of unnecessary crude humor that really ruined the movie for me. When my 14 year old repeatedly said the movie made him feel uncomfortable it was a clear sign that the movie was lacking. It really could have been an excellent movie if they would have removed the crude humor and added more action from the kid. Spoiler: There was one scene where Dave tells the kids choir he bought them all alcohol even though it wasn't real. Then later on they were really drinking all together. At one point there is a fight around a bunch of naked statues and Dave uses a statues * and testicles to knock some dude out. I mean it was totally cringy. Do better next time!
