Definitely over the top but entertaining if you're in the right mood. Didn't age well at all though like most rom/com raunchy comedy. It's exactly what you would expect from Dane Cook and Kate Hudson, type cast as usual.

no novelty, no surprises, but a very cute and funny movie. this movie is not annoying and stupid as some say, its the old romantic plot, with fresh jokes and a bit of spunk. Dane Cook is doing a surprisingly good job as the seemingly idiotic macho man yet in real life a sensitive guy. Kate is just Kate as you've seen her before. and Biggs just can't cut it as the loser, geeky best friend anymore... sorry Biggs, you're way too cute to be the second man again, its time for first. and of course some great Alec Baldwin moments. if you are up for a romantic yet funny flick, go see...

Story is kind of boring and there's nothing new it. Dane cook is not good enough to be a heartthrob, that proves casting is bad as well.

This was a film oftentimes crude and foul-mouthed but mostly well- written and, curiously enough, for a romcom, it featured one of my favourite themes, redemption. Love redeems Dane Cook's caddish, laddish Hudson through his falling in love with Kate Hudson's Alexis. In short, a stereotypical romcom plot but more abrasive than most and nonetheless thoroughly entertaining and uplifting. The countdown devices at the beginning and the end of the film for Hudson's sideline of pretending to be the worst date ever were really inventive even if they made me wince at times. But this film had its heart in the right place even if it could also be pottymouth.

I was quite entertained. Some may like it, some won't. But I definitely enjoyed it.

Gee what a surprise. Bad acting job for Ms. Hudson. Another Hollywood buffoon that would be nowhere near Hollywood, if she did not have a relative in the industry. This movie gets a 2 because it had a creative plot. A little offbeat from normal romance comedies.Thats where it ends. Basically a story about a guy that has his best friend date the girl he is trying to woo , an overly vulgar Dane Cook,thus the hope that nebush Jason Biggs looks like the real prize. Obviously , most of us understand where the plot is going from here.. Like we could not see it coming from a thousand miles away lmao. This film was not funny, badly acted and just seemed like it was thrown together like a Hurricane knocks around debris. This was an uneven film that is on the dubious list of films that just did not need to be made. The soundtrack was great , but nothing else was. Horrible comedy, that just makes those that watched the whole thing look stupid. Save your time folks.

I love Dane Cook when it comes to stand up comedy, but as for movies, I haven't found one of his movies that I actually laughed out loud. This movie made me feel like I should be getting sick. The dialogue was horrible and VERY derogatory against women. It was like torture having to sit through the movie. I love Judd Apatow's films and he's raunchy but he's also hilarious and not NEARLY as graphic as this movie was (in my opinion). This just really frustrates me that people put junk like that out there so young boys can * to it. At least I'm guessing that's the only thing this movie is good for. If you want to watch something raunchy and funny, again, check out any Judd Apataw movie and it'll save yourself 2 hours of wasted time.

It's a cute rom-com to watch with your girl. Nothing new and really implausible, but fun anyway.
