Murder in the Woods

An amazing movie that not only keeps you in suspense the whole time but displays what Hollywood's movies have been missing. A full Hispanic cast!!!

The twist ending wasn't so surprising but this was as I read someone described as a fun old fashioned horror movie. I felt the character building was good and the scares were 'jumpy". The girl fight was realistic and added a bit of comedy to the tension. I very much enjoyed this movie.

If you like this genre you got to watch this movie.Has some good twist and some expected violence for this kind of movie.

Trejo is awesome. Laughed and plenty of good jump scares.

Had a blast reading the reviews here. Looks like some people don't understand slashers. They are popcorn films not Oscar nominated films. Anyway, the beginning is slow, probably about a 5/10, the attractive cast keeps you interested (like most slashers) but once you get going its fun and scary! The ending is crazy! Highly recommend if you like Slashers or Blumhouse movies. I'm giving it a 10 because of the twist at the end!

Fun movie to watch. If you're into "who done it" slashers, you'll enjoy the laughs and the scares. My kids loved it.

If you would like an honest review....this movie is terrible... period!!! Bad acting, bad writing, just all around bad

You *know*, within a scene and a half, that this was basically a film student's final assignment. Had I not actually PAID to rent it after being VERY EASILY fooled by what appeared like positive reviews from underground horror critics, I could not have stomached the full hour and a half. The script & characters feel like they were concocted by a twelve year old who just saw Scream for the first time and thought "I could do that!"... and the acting... oh, god the acting. LAUGHABLY bad performances by the majority of the cast, if not all of them. Predictable from beginning to end, as far as who the killer is and the pecking order of the victims. The one thing I'll say is I didn't expect any kind of SFX to be successful, and they pulled that off better than anything else. 3.5/10 for actually completing their vision, against quite literally ALL the odds.

I was hesitant to watch this film. The reviews where mixed. But I love Danny T so I gave it a shot. If you like classic slashers like I do, this movie is great. Great looking cast and good twists. I feel that the bad reviews are from people that don't understand the genre and are expecting something else. This is a total fun popcorn film.
