The Movie had potential but the main protagonist is to put it simple am egoist b** This ruined the movie. The acting was good and the plot is interesting but the roles just awful.

Acting is really bad especially from the main characters Dialogs are good but with the classic moves. Such a bad clothing Sound effect is good Special effect is crap Such a lengthy second quarter. Also there are no reasons in scenes. Also there are so many points that does not make sense. The twist was nice but nothing much. This movie is really a waste of your time The end is alright but not much, so much more could it be. So much potential and it is just a walk into a standard C-movie robot movie.

Writer, producer and director Mattson Tomlin's experience is short films, and you can tell after seeing this one. The 110 min runtime felt much longer with all the filler, little substance, and slow pacing. However, even though there's nothing groundbreaking in his story, it was still told in a suspense-filled way that it held my attention, and the added twist was actually brilliant and a refreshing change in the otherwise dragged-out forest camping excursion. Tomlin's directing, the spot-on score, and the excellent cinematography, successfully created a chilling atmosphere that felt eerily realistic. I only wish it had more substance, more apocalyptic action, more thrills, and less depressing melodramatics. I feel this concept and the way it was filmed, and the excellent performance by Moretz, could be a successful mini-series. Imagine the story continuing in Korea and it's not what you expected, and only then does the film's title start to make sense. Hulu, are you listening? I feel the critics also went a little hard on this one; considering the clearly low budget used extremely well, and the eerie feel Tomlin created, along with Moretz's stellar performance, this is deserving nothing less than my well deserved 7/10, but could've easily been at least an 8 and above with simple proper changes.

I don't think this movie was as bad as other reviewers said, but definitely nothing new and clearly there was a lack of thought about some things that could have been much better. I think it was saved by chloe's acting but the basic idea of human-like robots that turn against their masters and murder is unsophisticated in itself, and doesn't work as a story the way it did in the 50s- before there had been time for anyone to think it through. Reminds me of an Orson Welles movie... innovative at the time but silly today.

It's a tale of hope, and loss, and love, and mourning. Of dreams dashed and hopes burgeoning. It's a tale of strength and survival and stoicism and it is told by Moretz at the peak of her acting. I remember her in Hugo as a child and she has matured far beyond what I ever thought she would. She carried and drove the film, and for maybe the 5th time ever I give this an 8. It's a very powerful and strong film with great direction, fantastic score and superlative acting, don't miss it.

"Mother/Android" opens with a Christmas party, where Georgia (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) finds out that she is pregnant. But she's not even sure if she wants a baby or to stay in a relationship with Sam (played by Algee Smith). And then immediately all hell breaks loose. Chaos starts and the androids turn on the human race so suddenly, without any warning. To cut to the chase, this movie is a survival story of a young couple. We are now in a post-apocalyptic world and I got kind of lost in the storyline. The plot and where the story is going is still not clear to me. The one thing that stood out was the acting performances of Chloë Grace Moretz (Georgia). Algee Smith´s acting was watchable but Chloë really stood out. Overall with a run-time of almost two hours, it was a very boring movie with a few moments where all came to live and where you could feel the tension. But too less and too late. Felt like four hours watching and was happy when the movie was finished. And I did not like the ending. If you have a choice, forget this movie. Don´t waste your precious time.

Chloe Grace Moretz tries her best to save Mother Android but she should have read the script before taking the role. A pregnant woman, Chloe, must survive in a world of an AI robot revolt. She and her boyfriend travel the desolate landscape while being attacked by unhappy man made machines. For some unknown reason, they need to make it to Boston. The storyline is horrible with a ridiculous ending. Watch The Children of Men instead.

It seems like they can't get the formula right with these streaming platforms, and the need to have everything be politically correct is ruining the industry. The acting was subpar, and the androids seemed kind of off and cheesy, more like a zombie movie rather than an android uprising. It also can't be an American movie unless the couples are mixed, make a movie, and stop trying to force this already dull agenda.
