Much better than expectations.
Ok not oscar material but its nice gentle comedy.
Entertaining and light hearted.
Sometimes we all need these.
Probably give it a 2nd viewing in a month or two.

Terrible. It should be a crime to spend the kind of money this cost to make on a movie like this For 1 the music makes me want to claw my ears off. I think it litterly has the worst soundtrack ever. The acting is pretty bad. I'd say a 3.5 out of 10, 10 being the best. Story is uninteresting, predictable & VERY uninventive. Ever since Warner brothers bought HBO it's content has gone downhill fast. More on the level of crappy basic cable shows. They even have game shows & reality tv shows ok HBO now. It's a travisty.

It's cliched, predictable, lazy and anodyne but despite this I actually enjoyed it. The two leads have no chemistry whatsoever but in the end that doesn't matter as you've already suspended your belief so high some more nonsense doesn't matter. Shallow, dumbed-down and made for the woke generation who all have sub-level IQ's and the attention span of Voles and need to be told how to think and feel, it was nonetheless an enjoyable couple of hours. Surprising.

Set in a future hell-world, it highlights the dystopia we inhabit today. Yes, 21st century. USA is that hell-world. Corporations rule all. They even rule Mars.
And that corporate flight to Mars, complete with the Google-esque application process that resembles that of a modern tek company, captures the California -casual, smile to your face and stab you when you turn your back, mentality of people today..

Set 25 years from today Mars is already colonized and a dreamer from Earth only has one objective, get to Mars. But wait, before he gets going anywhere, he encounters love plot twists that shape the story of this film.
Elon Musk-ish themes throughout, you get your typical Hallmark channel impossible love struggle. Throw in a Wall-E garbage problem and couple that with Plan 9 from outer space props.
This is a bubblegum tween superbop movie to be seen over the weekends in theaters. No real sci fi here, and I didn't laugh once. Mind you I watched this sober and I am not on any medication to alter my mind.

This film start with a spaceship landing, and a man "Walt" doing his video log scene! As turnout, this film is about two college students(Walt, and Sophie) fell in love with each other, while they on the journey to find their lovers on Mars! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the searching scene, overuse of the arguing scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the staring scene, overuse of the texting scene, overuse of the video call scene, overuse of the drinking scene, overuse of the AI machine talking scene, overuse of the dancing scene, overuse of the repairing scene, and overuse of the Tik Tok displaying scene! Make the film unwatchable! At the end, Walt following Sophie back to earth! That's it! Wasting time to watch!

Juvenile rom-com poorly written and unbelievable. Any ratings over a 4 are biased ratings placed by people affiliated with the show. It was painful to watch at times and usually predictable. My advice is to give it a pass.

I must give Lana Condor a credit for being able to bring some gravitas to her rather bland character. Alas, the same cannot say about Cole Sprouse. He's only making his irritating character worse. Despite how much effort Lana and Cole try to give, the romance between Sophie and Walt is still unconvincing, dull, and cringey.
