No it was not a good movie but it was not horrible if one can overlook the obvious flaws. The score was mostly overbearing, NO FIELD GRADE OFFICER, especially a GENERAL, ever ever ever has any facial or neck hair and military personnel do not wear a hat indoors. Nearly all B movies make the same mistake. On the plus side, the acting was good in some cases, someone was smart enough to clad the female astronauts in skimpy tank tops, and the idea of an explosion so powerful that chunks of the moon could escape gravitational pull was unique. I don't even know if that is possible but it was original.

I guess that its an acomplishment for this movie, which in fairness its unredeemable awful, to get me stay all the way thru but it did.
What can I say, bad acting, were these people actors?
Bad script, all nonsense technical jargon polluted all dialogs,
cgi? I guess they were made in a solo PC with stock effects, lame
oh lord, but Hey!! I watched the entire movie! Almost.

Let down by bad acting. It's hard to watch. I like the amateur special effects however there is not a lot of it it's mostly soap opera type acting so I got bored and turned it off.

This is a great movie to make fun of with a group of friends. Zero acting talent. Zero dialog. Bad effect. Just 100% bad. I gave it a 2/10 as opposed to 1/10 because it would make a great MST3000 episode . Could also be a good "Film Cliché" drinking game.

I'm truly impressed how bad this movie is. The story might be interesting and gripping, but the execution is horrible. Visible body microphones and microports, irrational makeup and dirt on people's faces and clothes, earthquakes created just by the shaking the camera and actors falling down in a weird way, funny props, ridiculous use of gas masks. And that's just the beginning. The movie's pace fluctuates rather substantially - sometimes its really slow and boring, and sometimes a lot happens in a short time span.
It seems obvious that this movie had a budget of about 50 bucks, so don't expect high-end special effects. However, there are some aspects that can be appreciated. First of all, the acting is quite all right. Most of the characters are played by people taken directly from the street, with no or very little acting experience. But they still perform OK. Secondly, the background music is spot on. It's hard to call it a soundtrack but all the pieces fit well with the scenes and they do build tension. Actually, the sound does it better the the actors. Finally, the script deserves some credit. A broken relationship gets fixed while saving the planet.
Oh, and the world is going to end due to a seemingly inevitable collision of a Moon meteoroid cluster with the Earth.

Not the best one either. The acting was passable as usual is the case. The CGI was a little tacky in places but the stuff set on the moon was really not that bad and having a disaster movie set on the moon is something you don't always see a lot. Not much else to say about this really but its certainly better than other asylum offerings.

I was wrong. Analog phones, pay phone in the middle of the desert (that works), people who can smell toxic air but not be affected, someone sawing a certain percent through a beam to save the earth, one tire blowing out and the vehicle is dead in the age of people living and drilling on the moon.
I can't even. 51 minutes in and I have to save myself by stopping watching. If this is any indication of how smart humans are when they have figured out how to live and drill on the moon then we deserve to be wiped out as a species.
Not to mention the fact that IF commercial interests reached the moon for the plunder of natural resources they would probably be so greedy as to drill "too fast" and jeopardize the very planet they came from. And there would be no second thoughts. "Alien" anyone?

Poor special effects let the film down. Some of the acting was good. The film could of been better if they worked on the special effects. Had to be honest.

Just from the title of the movie you can tell it's trying to ride on name recognition of another movie coming out this year, Moonfall. That should tell you what this movie is.....cheap knock off. The disappointing part is just how cheap this knock off turned out to be.
As a sci-fi movie, the special effects scenes in it was so pathetically little that it makes Roger Corman films look like Star Wars. The acting was pretty bad but mostly on par with many low grade TV movie productions, filled with over acting and exaggerated lines of recent film school graduates. Even the extras were terrible. In a scene of a Pentagon meeting, none of the people seated at the meeting looked like they belong in a Pentagon meeting, especially the general. Camera angles were also bad. Very boring close-ups to hide the cheap staging of the scene everywhere.
There is just zero redeeming factor of this film. Don't even watch it to fall asleep.
