The film centers on Dallas Edwards (Jack Samson). His father has been missing for three years. He was a military paranormal/UFO investigator. Dallas has a hot sister (Camille Kostek) and a hot Mother (Arianne Zucker) according to his stoner friends TOE (Jack Lancaster) and Riley (Jared Scott). In addition to smoking pot, they are ghost hunters which we discover in the opening scene. Dallas is searching for his dad when he discovers classified documents in his garage as well as a GPS which leads the threesome plus Kelly (Gabrielle Haugh) on an adventure. The film was humorous. Good dialogue. It was as if older teen Bevis and Butthead do Goosebumps. The budget prevented the feature from better effects and better actors (Casper Van Dien). The ending lacked a decent climax scene and was a bit of a letdown. The rest of the feature was good. Redbox Rental. Good directing debut for Tom DeLonge. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

I have a soft spot for Casper Van Dien, so I said I would watch this film. He's in it just for a few scenes, though. The rest is a bunch of really cute guys and girls going in circles in a film that makes no sense. Come for Casper and stay for the bikini models. The entire story circles around a teen boy who wants to find out what happened to his dad. His friends and him are active paranormal hunters and then they discover a tech MacGuffin left there by the missing father, which then leads to aliens and other random stuff. Meanwhile you get the most pointless personal dramas, like his (very hot) mom dating and then preparing to get married and then deciding to move the family to another city. Don't worry, none of this has any relevance to the story at all. I thought it would be a fun "young group of boys go on an adventure" thing. But everybody is either too old for this kind of plot, or too young to take seriously. And the movie is so bad... Ugh!

Lighten up and just enjoy the show. It was fun and I really enjoyed that it shoots down the religious fanatics and points out the source of beliefs. Common sense really and very obvious. Done in a light hearted, plain language way, but the human mind is de-evolving and they need plain language. What it tells is to live your life with a discerning eye, a science mind and intellect. That religious texts all started out as science observations, but humans mucked it up. The reasonable mind has always known this, but the man made religion made humans stupid. I have always liked Richard Kind, and glad he helped them out by being in the film. He's good in everything he does.

I came across this movie while browsing UFO threads on Reddit. It seemed to hide clues and revelations about the whole UAP and alien affair. Well, imagine watching a bad episode of Scooby-Doo, minus the dog, with four teenagers stumbling upon mysteries they generally escape from by literally running away. So, the first survival lesson: run. The dialogues, moreover, are nothing short of comical. Forced humor and comedic pauses, including the old stoner friend trick. The funny thing, though, is to notice how some dialogues are actually meant to be revealing: the movie changes its mood, and you witness a dialogue pasted there, almost randomly, that seems like a script taken from some conspiracy-minded mind.

Casper Van Dien and Richard Kind were wasted in this movie. Their acting was excellent but the plot and storyline were very shallow and the ideals thrown about in this movie are old and worn out. The three friends who were the main characters were annoying and profane for the sake of it, not adding anything to the story at all. The 'stoner' angle was juvenile and lacked anything in the way of charm or substance to make up for the dumbing down of the characters. The movie attacks religion, specifically Christianity with tiresome attacks that are used so often that entire tomes of Apologetic materials have been written to address them. Heck even a Google or ChatGPT conversation would have yielding a counter-argument to any of the issues raised in the movie. It is just sloppy writing to make an argument or point and not understand the issue at all. It makes you appear bigoted and biased just because. There were a few moments I chuckled and one promising scene with a fictional creature that made me sit up and take notice, but overall the movie felt drawn out and directionless. As for the audio, graphics and effects, there were times the movie was a bit too dark and times when the audio would get overly loud. There were some beautifully shot scenes and some of the effects were well done and then there are other scenes toward the end of the movie where it looks like the effects were done by hiring the lowest bidder on Fivver.

I'm a sci-fi and Horror FREAK! The dialogue might be juvenile, but? I have to admit I was taken in by the Characters and their back story. This had an ET Vibe. Innocent and kind. We could use more of it. It isn't scary... It's not trying too hard. It's not a high budget movie. It's a movie about friends and Family. Trials of teenage brain drain, but better. I need 227 more characters to leave this review. I think the actors are kind of perfect for each role. Campy AND FUN! It's worth a couple of hours. I don't want to spoil any of the story... I'm recommending that you check it out.
