I know this is an odd thing to get hung up on, but the title is misleading and what they keep calling it is misleading. This isn't a "haunt" or a haunted house, at all. It's a torture house, or a torture session. It has absolutely nothing to do with haunting or traditional Halloween things. I don't see how this is an "extreme haunted house" anything. I'm a vet and they didn't call boot camp an extreme haunt. Just odd terminology. It's an interesting and kind of messed up documentary. It sad to see the effects of it on the people that have actually done it. The psychological effects are rough. It is good to hear about this from people that actually are involved or have been through it. I think they are nuts but to each their own. I hope the people that it showed at the end that still seek this stuff out get some professional help rather than more torture.

The only thing worse than trying to watch this is legit watching paint dry or even a pot of water trying to boil. WARNING THIS DOCUMENTARY WILL CURE INSOMNIA. I couldn't even get passed 15 minutes of it. There was constant blame and never accountability. They signed a contract and knew what they were getting themselves into. Smart people say if you see waterboarding, finger nail pulling, teeth pulling, you stay clear of that by human nature. But, no curiosity killed the cat literally got bunch of sissy girls running around that cant move on with life. The movie sucked! I dunno how many times I have to say it. Blah!

I've always had an interest in the Haunt that this documentary is about. It was really cool back in the day when it was actually a haunted house. What used to be a fun spooky attraction turned into an extreme haunt, which there is nothing wrong with. Over time tho the extreme haunt just got more and more extreme until even the scare actors backed out because it was just too much. Now it's run by the one guy that created the haunt and its just himself torturing people and filming it for what seems to be his own pleasure. This documentary did a great job going through the history of the haunt from when it started up until present day. If you've ever had an interest in extreme haunts this is a must watch. Bravo!

It's actually one of the better Docs I've seen over the years. I've been following this story For many many years and wonder how he got away an why we never Heard their side of it. He's clearly Got some screws loose! They can say it's one sided all they want but the truth is All the docs etc I've seen have always Been about Russ. Why has it always Been About him an His side yet now because they wanna Speak its making him look like a monster 🤣. News flash He is a monster an he showed that Himself. Anyway Watch it judge for yourself! But make sure you have all sides! Always remember there are 3 sides to every story. But Again Get the whole story before you make your choice.

I knew Russ was a creep but I had no idea how truly revolting he was until I watched this documentary. I thought it was a great documentary and very informative for anyone who didn't already know much about Russ McKamey. The interviews were really well done and the use of Russ' own footage showing how much he gets off to all the torture he's doing to people was mind blowing. I do wish they had touched more on the fact that now that he's in Tennessee his extreme haunt doesn't actually exist anymore. People are wasting time and money to go there and all they're getting is some front yard exercising and then waterboarding before being sent on their way.

Russ isn't a good person by any stretch of the imagination but you shouldn't be surprised. He runs a mf torture chamber. It claims to be the most extreme & actually delivers. But I understand. You'd obviously hate the person that just tortured you for 8 hours. It makes it hard to feel bad for these people because they knew what they were getting into. There's hundreds of hours of video footage about the experience they willingly signed up for. Sorry it was too extreme for them, they overestimated their capacity for torture. That doesn't mean that they have the right to hack into Russ's email & harass him. He obviously gets off on it in a very strange, kind of disturbing way. But maybe that's what makes him the best at what he does?

I had never heard of McKamey Manor even as an avid horror movie fan because the idea of being tortured in a "personal horror experience" sounds absolutely vile to me, as I'm sure it does to most normal people. My idea of a good horror experience is actually being in a real haunted house, not being beat up by some wanna-be serial killer. Russ McKamey is your run-of-the-mill, garden variety sociopath. You kind of have to be messed up in the head or a special kind of stupid to not see it on its face. I didn't give this documentary high ratings despite the public service that it performs, because so much of the information is like....well, duh. If that guy offered me a piece of candy on a public street in broad daylight I'd be running for the hills. He even looks like some conservative weirdo that participates in domestic violence on the regular. The most interesting thing about this documentary are the mental health professionals who explain what kind of mental disorders or childhood traumatic experience would make people vulnerable to this kind of dysfunctional recreation. I found that enlightening, at least. Anyone saying this story is "one sided" needs professional help. Seriously, I don't care to hear the excuses of this abusive sicko.
