Incredibly predictable low budget attempt at a Sicilian/American mafia movie. 3 stars for the laughter I enjoyed during the worst bits. Although I wouldn't recommend you watch it, it's bad, and I don't mean 'Sharknado/fun' bad, I mean just Bad. I think the majority of the production team and their friends are responsible for all the 10/10 ratings. Bruce Busta Soscia has to be the worst actor by far. Way too over acted by all involved apart from Celine Alva who gave a remarkably good performance considering the poor script. Where were the twists I read about in another review?
The Vernacular was all wrong for an Italian American gangster movie (you don't go on the run, it's on the lamb) for example. Some of the edits were so bad it looks like a school project, and the music mixing was one of the worst I've seen. You can actually hear the volume being turned up and down when the 'actors' speak. This is probably due to the poor voice recording, you literally can't hear what's being said in some scenes. All extremely predictable, illogical and very forgettable. And one question I have... Does substance withdrawal always just stop after a couple of hours?

This movie was well worth the wait !! Amazing cast, amazing crew, great dialogue. The script was written VERY WELL. The movie flow is great as well, not a moment of boredom. Each scene keeps you at the edge of your seat. The music was great as well it went well with the theme. Ciro Dapagio did an outstanding job playing the character of Mike White. Each scene was hypnotizing. You can feel the characters anger, anguish, worry, pain, love and at moments a feeling of serenity. Oh before I forget, the fight scene was choreographed in an OUTSTANDING manner!! Each actor did an outstanding job, you can really tell that hard work and dedication was put into this project. I cannot wait to see if this will become a sequel !!! Looking forward to all CDP projects. Job well done guys!

Atrocious Acting:
The performances in "The Mobking" are nothing short of abysmal. Ciro Dapagio's portrayal of the supposed mob kingpin lacks any semblance of charisma or authenticity. His wooden delivery and complete lack of emotional range make it impossible for viewers to invest in his character or take him seriously. The supporting cast fares no better, delivering cringe-worthy performances that are riddled with awkward line delivery and unconvincing portrayals of hardened criminals. The amateurish acting only serves to further undermine an already disastrous film.
Authenticity is a crucial aspect of any gangster film, and "The Mobking" fails to capture even a shred of it. The film's portrayal of organized crime is laughably inaccurate and detached from reality. The dialogue is littered with laughable attempts at tough-guy jargon, further emphasizing the lack of authenticity. From the poorly choreographed action scenes to the caricature-like characters, "The Mobking" feels like a cheap imitation of better films in the genre, lacking any genuine depth or substance.
Scene Stealing;
In one part of the film Ciro Dapagio talks about when he was younger how he use to work for Wiseguys parking and driving their cars, it is really a bad version of a part in Scorsese's classic hit film Goodfellas.
"The Mobking" is its complete lack of entertainment value. The film fails to engage or captivate its audience at any point. It lacks tension, suspense, or any compelling moments that would make it worth the viewer's time. Instead, viewers are left bored and disinterested, Avoid at all costs.

Very impressed with the whole movie especially the cast. Great story and acting. Riveting movie that kept me on the edge of my seat! For those who don't normally watch these types of movies, it is definitely different and will keep you riveted. Ciro and the cast did an amazing job. Top notch acting with just the right amount of action to keep you watching to the end. Really enjoyed it and recommend it everyone who is looking for something new and different to watch with your friends and family. Kudos to everyone involved in the production of this movie. It was worth the wait. Looking forward to see the sequels!

Great Mob film! I have been awaiting this release throughout the pandemic and it was worth the wait! You can see all of the collaborative efforts put in to this film. Very realistic experiences,unfortunately these things actually happen 🤦♀️. I am very impressed with the writers, production crew, makeup and actors for their professionalism & dedication to creating this film. MobKing is action packed with many angles of scenarios that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The scenes make you have all kinds of feels from heartwarming, to disgust as well as fear for ever getting involved with the wrong crowd. I applaud you all! Great job! I highly recommend this.
