This has to be one of the best movies ever made!!! It keeps you thinking, never a dull moment and will keep you guessing until the very end!!!! I'll definitely watch this movie again and don't require any kicks in the nuts to watch it!!!

The idea is the same as Agatha Christie's "Ten little Indians" but the whole story is conceived in such an unlikely way that most of the flick looks ridiculous. Low-budget films should always be appreciated and this is certainly one of them, with a respectable cast actually (Kathryn Morris not a surprise for "Cold Case" fans). Nevertheless, in spite of the assortment of good actors and original characters, when the excess surpasses every limit, even a sophisticated premise (midway between "Kiss the girls" and "Crime Scene Investigation)along with an acceptable dose of tension and humor cannot prevent the movie from being silly.

I like movies that keep me guessing, this one had me going all the way through. I was glued to my seat and really fell in love with all the characters. The way the plot opened up was pretty special its a real work of art the way the scripts and the directing come together. I loved the darkness and the constant guessing "is it you, because you said that" sort of thing. TOTALLY did not expect that ending at all it came as quite a shock, it was so well written that even i didn't guess who it was although i think that because of the way the writers didn't know who it was going to be until the last moment kind of helped out there. If you can get past the slight gore in the movie its dam good and well worth seeing. Marina:)

Warning - Spoilers ahead I was really mad that Val Kilmer had to die in this movie. This movie would have been good if Val Kilmer would have survived. I do however liked LL Cool J's role. This movie was really freaky. It shows you that a killer gets those that have a liking for certain things.

This is basically a modern reworking of 'And Then There Were None' (itself based on the Agatha Christie story 'Ten Little Indians'), and as such it's mildly entertaining although definitely not scary. For a film to be scary you need to (a). have characters that the audience cares about and (b). build tension. Both are absent here. The two best actors both get killed off very early on and one can only wonder if that was at their own request!? I thought that the idea for the Puppeteer (a serial killer who manipulates his victims so that they bring about their own death) had potential but unfortunately the idea is wasted and the director himself seems to have forgotten about it after the first couple of deaths. Another poor Hollywood knock-off of an original idea.

This movie is an example of a good thriller recipe. It has a graduate suspense, you never know how things will evolve and if you think you do, you are wrong. It combines psychological hints with rising terror and the result is breathtaking. Most of the actors are well known and this story could happen in real life too, producers didn't exaggerate the elements much out of the ordinary. The location of the action, a deserted island, is great for the plot, as it provides several different sceneries giving diversity to the action. The characters are well outlined, each has his/her personality, habits or weakness that define them. The actors also spice up the characters and have been well chosen for this movie. The tension increases and it never stops, not even at the end, you keep watching out for traps until the final minute. So I recommend you see it and I am sure even the most critical ones of you will at least enjoy it!

This line is in the movie. No more major description needed beyond that. It was fun, the death scenes were cool. But it made absolutely NO SENSE. I mean NONE. It makes sense in that "as long as we explain it at length and show flashbacks to how it was done" movie logic kind of way... but in real life it's nothing but plotholes. Still, fun. This "film" follows much of the same format that DEEP BLUE SEA did. It's all here. Isolate characters. Check. Kill off major actors early on. Check. Leave Cool J alive at the end. Check. Give Cool J and others "witty" dialogue that is totally out of place. Check. Make the characters quickly go through their backstories as conveniently as possible. Double check.
