I wish that they found a solution together without a lot of drama I know that writer become obsessed a little ...but at least he try to protect her to not lose Their respect for each other....I mean it's not fair to him .

Has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life . Who cares about any of these stupid characters anyways ? I certainly don't. What is the point of this whole entire movie anyways the first half hour nothing happens just ridiculous little girl flirting with an old man that makes a lot of sense it's hard to imagine how this ever got funded and how this was ever released into the theaters the only actor that was good in this movie was the drunken wife besides that just an atrocity of a movie that should never have been made just a horrible display of nothing absolutely nothing wow amazing.

I literally turned it off after 15 minutes. I did not believe a single thing that happened from the acting, to the writing and then the overbearing melodramatic music over everything didn't help. Are there ANY good movies anymore? Of course you get the standard DEI cast and no surprise, but yet another British or foreign actor playing an American. Apparently there are no more American actors to play Americans. I'm surprised the lead British actor didn't have a POC wife. The dialogue was so unbelievable bad, overly written. No one speaks like that. Then the annoying "phone messages/calls" credits over the screen, like they are too lazy to do an insert of a phone ringing or a text. And if you want me to believe that a long-term married couple would still behave like they are on their first date, all romantic, dancing to a 60s soul jam, you must be kidding. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING was believable in this film. Everything was so cliche. A BIG NO from me.

I had high hopes. From the trailer it looked interesting and aesthetically pleasing but I was very wrong. Unfortunately by the end of the movie I was left feeling frustrated because, the main thing about this movie - the tension, it was non existent. There was no chemistry between the main protagonists. Zero. And Martin's heavy breathing in Jenna's face was very uncomfortable to watch... Jenna on the other hand... Oh God, where do I even start?? She was so stiff the whole time it was seriously hard to watch. I don't know when this movie was filmed, but she seems stuck in her "Wednesday" role. Yes, her character is supposed to be strong, opinionated, witty, charming, seductive... But she fails to deliver any of it! She doesn't seem like clever teenage girl suddenly shaken and intrigued by an unexpected new variable in her life, at times she kinda looks bored. Her narrating was good though. But like I mentioned, the main point of the movie, the taboo of the desire and magnetism between main characters, is absolutely lacking. It's almost cringe and uncomfortable watching their scenes of "passion and attraction"... To sum it up - good idea, poorly executed. Shame.

What a boring moving trope to begin with. Teacher falls for student. Wow, really? The script and story start to fall apart about a half hour in to this schoolgirl fan fiction nonsense. The characters start making weird choices and make decisions that belay their traits that we have seen so far. The constant use of poetry quotations is annoying and so incredibly pretentious and is very distracting. The writer/director is a first timer who looks like they have used both childhood dreams and chat GPT to write this. An hour in is when the film jumps the shark. Most likely because the writer had no idea how to end it. A waste of a good cast.

Yes, that is a serious question. Sometimes a movie is so bad that the only fair rating is zero. Zero, nought, nil, nothing. And here we have such a movie. Starting with the writing, you have to wonder how anybody involved in the production/financing could think this was anything other than infantile. I can only surmise that those involved in financing this rubbish did not read the script and/or did not undertand what they were reading. The direction I assume has faithfully adhered to the script. Accordingly, it it direction of such absurd and childish nonsense that you will be flabbergasted as you watch. I do encourage you to watch this. And to keep in mind one of the real mysteries in cinema: how did it get made?
