I found this movie dragged on a bit half way through. Once we knew what was going on it seemed to take a while to get to the final conclusion. It has a weird ending too. I've never seen this story played out as far as I can remember. It's a weird film with a weird plot and weird characters. That's all I have to say.

I really enjoyed this movie because it didn't follow the predictable path i thought it was going to follow. It had mystery, creepiness and thriller elements.
I thought the ending was amazing and i actually felt very satisfied with it. The characters i wanted survived.
The best friend - I would have liked to see what they did to May as although she was tied up, she wasn't really harmed in any way. I guess that's why she reacted in the way she did. Interesting that they murdered Penelope who they knew for many years but merely tied up May.
This movie was better than most blockbusters in the same genre.

I loved this, a bit slow but such great quality for a tubi original. The filming was great quality and the story kept me interested for the majority of the movie. Tubi is really really upping their game, I always watch tubi originals now! More of a suspense horror. I usually fast forward through all the boring parts but for this one I only did that for maybe 5 minutes total, would of skipped the end because i lost interest by then, but not bad at all. Ending was a bit anti climatic though. Really thought that the ending should of consisted of more then fifteen minutes or so after all the build up to it.

Started like a Low grade thriller.
Made slickly well . So this girl is going to meet the parent of his rich handsome bf who seems super rich. When they get there things take a mystery turn with elements of "get out" chill factor. Seems to be set up in Canada sleepy getaway home. Not a soul in sight here.
The role of Penelope the house maid doesnt distract too much from main theme.
The parents keep drugging the Girl who pokes her nose around the house to find an Empty room of his sister who is lost 10 years ago . Under mysterious circumstances. And still looks murky . No cop.is around so even shady Plot.

Almost passed on this lifetime flick, but I checked it out anyways and it was pretty good.
Also had some pretty violent and bloody scenes in it including someone getting their eyes drilled out.
I liked the creepy atmosphere this one also had and the bleak winter setting was also nice.
A young woman with a treacherous past decides to go on a weekend trip to meet her new boyfriends wealthy parents.
She quickly discovers some thing is off with the family.
I also wasn't expecting the ending to this one as well, definitely twisted and disturbing.
For a lifetime flick, this one is certainly worth a watch. Also can see it on tubi tv I believe.

A disturbing movie & how it ends actually a bit shocking!
You actually go from rooting for the girlfriend to survive,to feeling she's in ways no better after her killer actions with the innocent friend.
I get she felt her boyfriends father was innocent, but she actually took that to her advantage.. Getting money, home & family she wanted.
Some might feel it was Stockholm behavior but if anything proved she never left her past life or behaviors behind,so she was an opportunist just like the insane family.
The boyfriend and mother got what was deserved,at first you feel bad for them thinking they are being manipulated in the home.
This was cast decent, acted ok & cinematography good.
If you overlook plotholes & clichés,you will like it more.. As a few things feel absurb, but it's a movie so just enjoy!
With all that said.. Makes you wonder how the aftermath was addressed, from the deaths & the (fake)daughter being found. Was it reported or covered up,etc.
Worth seeing! Not bad for a Tubi original, normally they are low-quality bad.

Grace Perkins (Katelyn McCulloch) has had a difficult life, being an orphan and going to -- as she says -- a dark place before landing on her feet. She has a stable job, a dependable roommate named May (Ericka Leobrera) and the man of her dreams, Rob Whitby (Connor McMahon).
This weekend is a big deal, because Rob is finally bringing her to meet his parents, Stephen (Dmitry Chepovetsky) and Miriam (Kate Vernon). Mom is a rough one, continually bringing up how much she hated past girlfriends and how wrong they were, while dad seems doting and even childlike.
Of course, this is entering into Get Out territory because while everyone is white, there is still the issue of class and, well, the Whitbys are all certifiable. But have they met the wrong girlfriend?
Between every drink making Grace either drunk or sick and Penelope (Juno Rinaldi) the maid confiding in her that numerous girlfriends who look just like her have come to the mansion and were never seen again, you can see the direction of the plot against our protagonist. But just when I thought that this was ripping off Jordan Peele, well, the movie flips the script -- spoilers from here on out -- because the family doesn't want a slave or a body for old people to body swap with, but instead they want Grace to become their dead daughter Jenny using mind control, psychic theater and a machine that can either change the color of your eyes or turn your face into gumbo. Those are the exact works in the movie.
Just when you think you've got that plot development figured out -- and yes, that means that Rob has repeatedly had sex with many of his sisters or at least recreations of his dead sister that he probably -- definitely -- murdering in a pond -- this movie is ready to throw another one at you.
Directed by Sam Coyle, who also made the Tubi original Deadly Estate, and written by Mike Rinaldi, this is one of the more enjoyable Tubi originals that I have seen because it continues to lean hard into its premise, like an Italian remake remix rip-off before finding its own way and closing with a completely outrageous final act that overdelivers on its promise.
