A variation of the invisible friend/ghost advising the protagonist, Me and My Left Brain is just terrible. Unfunny banal dialogue combined with a thoroughly annoyingly unlikeable "gentleman hero" and a woefully inappropriate jazz band soundtrack (why for goodness sake?) make this intended Aussie comedy an ordeal to sit through. I generously awarded a 2 purely on the basis of a couple of attractive female leads and some nice urban locations, that intermittently pop up. Best avoided however and easy to see why it avoided any critics' screenings.

I have to say, hearing that it was channeling Woody Allen I thought that was a big call, but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually did channel a lot of Woody Allen. Quite a fun little film! Lots of laughs throughout. A great fun film to watch with friends at the cinema. You'll be coming out light and up beat.

1hr and 12min? You kidding? Yawn. Yet another dreadfully amateurish movie from here in Australia. This is surely a script written to be a stage play?? It just goes nowhere!! What is the point? The writing is bland the direction poor the performances ok but it is just so slow and at 72min ends in a flash and is gone and forgotten. Just a nothing film. I have seen student films with more impact. Was this seriously released in cinemas???

Superb writing from the fabulous writer, Alex Lykos. The film portrays our own inner paranoia / neurosis when it comes to relationships from a comedic POV and I strongly related with Arthur's (Alex Lykos) struggles with his left brain (Mal Kennard). Loved Rachael Beck, Mal Kennard and Alex Lykos' performances. Not your typical Australian comedy!

A clever, lighthearted comedy that is very relatable. It's hard not to go on the journey with the main character Arthur as he is tosses and turns one night trying to make sense of where he stands with the object of his affection and life in general.
