Was director high on weed while making movie....this is so bad. I put this movie on tv with family thinking 9 star rated movie will make our day....but this turn out to be worse ...I mean 15 sec reels are far better than whole movie ...just rescuing their friend from cave or hole....plz plz dont watch... its my genuine review.if you will watch in theatre than its totally waste of money and time and if you will watch with your family,they will turn out to be exhausted in first 10 min of th movie ....actings of supporting characters are as bad as some teenage boy making film .For me its 0 out of 10.

What were the producers thinking casting 'uncles' and calling it Manjummel 'Boys?' It looked cartoonish seeing guys old enough to be married with school going kids of their own acting like school boys. Some of the cast may be well known in Mollywood, but that doesn't help. If the cast's age was age appropriate, it would have been marginally better. Some scenes, like the ones with the guys lying down supposedly to stop the storm water from flowing into the underground cave, that was the worst piece of direction I have ever seen. I am not sure what genre this film fits in. Adventure no, thriller, no. Boring, yes. I gave two stars for the cinematography. Some of the nature shots were good. The story had potential. Would have loved to see what the Kantara team would have done with it. Missed opportunity!

It was most highly highly highly highly highly *500000 boring movie I ever watched. I dropped it in between. Just fast forwarded to the end. In end, they just needed someone trained in rescue effort to help the person dropped in the cave. Instead they had to choose one of the friend. Idiots didnt even had the sense to drop him in with some radio equipment. Idiots did not even have some trained medical experts availble after successful rescue. In the end, the movie is all about some idiot fool of tourist and highly highly untrained police and forest personnale abosultely unadaquete to perform their job. And I will not even blame those untrained police person.

The name of the character that falls into the gorge is named Subhash. Half of the dialogs in the movie are just people calling/shouting 'Subashe, Subhashe'. This is not a survival thriller. This is a story of a bunch of drunkards going to a restricted cave and then others having to bail them out. Not worth watching. The only good cinema in this epic bore is the last 30 mins when a character volunteers to enter the gorge to save the life of his friend. That climb-down and the subsequent rescue is kind of ok to watch. If you are someone who just wants to watch a survival thriller, go watch class movies like 127 Hours or something because this one is just a waste of time.

What was all the hype about this movie? A very average storyline. It's a survival story of rescuing a guy who falls into a cave as deep as 900 ft. The first half is below average n the second half rescue attempts is where it starts catching attention. Rescue operation was pathetic with very illogical plot like one able to hear the one who is 900 ft below, police force reaching with no safety rope etc. Watch 'Thai cave rescue' series or movies like Society of the snow, Cast away etc to understand what real exciting survival stories be like. Available on Disney Hotstar in all South Indian languages including Hindi. My ratings 5/10!

This is a gripping, claustrophobic, thriller movie & really well crafted one. Through out the movie it feels as if one is in it & not just watching one. All I did was just read the subtitles, but still was entertaining. The movie shows the strength of friendship and the undying will to help the one in danger. The taking and direction of the film really keep on on the edge of the seats, a job which really well done by the director. The fact that this is based on a real story, make the movie even more interesting. This one is really a good movie making. And, thanks to this one, I'm not going to visit any caves any more ;).
