I watched this wonderful documentary film about one of my heroes with a tear in my eye. A must see for any football fan. Steven Gerrard is someone who gave everything for his club and is an outstanding sportsman. A legend.

Steven Gerrard is one of the underspoken legends of the English football . This movie dictated how he overcome difficulties and challenges to give everything for his club and it's fans . This movie is a struggle and very emotional picture of the man's life . You will definitely hope Liverpool F.C to win a premier league for the sake of the legend .

Worse things happen than losing football matches. Worse things happen than slipping and effectively handing a football competition to Man City. But football IS life and death to those who follow their club through thick and thin. And Steven Gerrard epitomised that love, hope and, ultimately despair of the football supporter. I feel a little low after watching this film. Steven's career deserved a happy ending. But who could ever forget Istanbul 2005? Shame that wasn't the happy ending. I only hope that one day Gerrard comes back to Liverpool FC as manager and does what he didn't quite manage to achieve as a player and wins the First Division (or whatever it is called then). A true hero of the game and even a non-Liverpool fan; even those who sing the cruel 'Demba Ba' song, could not begrudge him of the title that alluded him as a player. A wonderfully poignant 8 out of ten

Amazing to see a proper documentary on Stevie G. This guy was the reason I started watching football. He is the epitome of Leadership, Sacrifice & Loyalty.
Quite well-made. It takes us through the ups and downs of Gerrard's career. His private life, his love for his family and their tradition.

Before the days of £100 million pound players every team had that one player u knew absolutely gave it everything . They may not of been a local lad or the most skilful but as a boy u wanted to be that player . The best thing about this film is showing stevie for the humble down to earth person he was and remained as a football fan it's a must watch as a Liverpool fan that olympiakas goal still gives me goose bumps and makes hairs on back of my neck stand up more than any other and he will win the premier league one day as manager hopefully if not who cares cos watching him play and seeing the boy grow into a man will always be some of the greatest memories

I'm not a LFC fan, nor really a football fan but this is so much more than football! It's an inspirational account of a hugely talented boy and man giving everything to his home city and club! We can all take something from his loyalty, drive and attitude. It's not about the money or fame for him...how refreshing! Clearly a man in love with his family too!
What a huge pressure on his shoulders! A very honest and emotional insight! Makes me want to be the best person I can be! It really isn't all about the glory! Watched it with my two sons who also found it hugely inspiring!
Hope to see him as manager for LFC one day...he has unfinished business!

The raw emotion that came from the lowest of lows to the eventual euphoric joy was something incredibly infectious and difficult not to get caught up in.
